NBeing that I can't really go to my old work and pinch the uber pod coffee machine that I made my friend for seminars and meetings, we are thinking of buying one of the aldi's machines.

Two questions. One, are the aldi machines good? I am sure I have heard that they are. Second, do you need to use that brand's own pods?
