Hi ladies,
I am so over my food processor (Kenwood Multi-Pro - about 4 years old). I got it as a wedding present (was on our registry) and thought it was a really good strong one. Unfortunately not so. The moment something a little heavier is in the bowl, the motor sounds horrible and starts smelling like burnt plastic. It's really annoying.
I would love one that can handle heavy stuff like pizza dough. My current one doesn't even handle the dough for a simple marble cake all that well.
I use it mainly for cakes and doughs. But also for the blender attachment. I'm not that fussed about the chopping, slicing part and have only used the juicer a couple of times in the last 4 years.
Any recommendations?
We have a Sunbeam Multiprocessor. It came with all the attachments and several speeds, but maybe a year later we only have two speeds. On and off, governed by the powerpoint! Maybe we coped a bad one from a good bunch, but who knows?!? So I'm keen to see if people have some good suggestions, cause I'm in the market as well.
well girls, this morning I busted out my new food processor. I bought it for $50 bucks brand new from my mother in law because she had two and didnt need this one. It is a Sunbeam multiprocessor LC6200 I loved it, it has everything and is so quiet. Compact also it all fits together for storage. has processing, dough, slicing, chipping, grating, shredding (coarse & fine) blades, and whisk attachment. I have only used the processing blade though so I cant comment on the dough blade.
I highly reccomend it.
