    Anyone have a SlapChop?

    Hi all,

I was most excited to receive my SlapChop in the mail last week. However, was quite disappointed when I used it for the first time today I was chopping onions, mushrooms and pumpkin. It worked fine on the onions...but the mushrooms and pumpkin kept getting stuck in between the blades.

Has anyone else had this problem? I really thought it would save me time, but in the end I chopped things manually because it was too much of a hassle having to 'unclog' the blades each time.

yep I have one and HATE it! It was given as a present so I feel compelled to keep it around, but it is the most useless kitchen appliance ever! I still want to know how they get it to work during the filming of the ad, because I cant get it to chop even the simplest of veg.

I think it is a form of hypnotism. It always gets us when we're sleep deprived and it sucks us in to thinking it is what we need to solve all our problems! Lmao!! That's what I thought when I ordered the Wow Containers. I was Convinced I could throw out all my old containers and just have these gorgeously piled containers sitting there taking up next to no space. Hmmmmm. Shame they broke & leaked the first time they were used.

The containers you mentioned are the Wow Containers that I purchased. They look brilliant on the commercial. They just pop the tops on and away they go. In reality, there are clips on the side that break off real easy and the containers can't hold liquids without leaking.
Lol ok.., won't be getting those!!!!

So DH tells me tonight he bought us a Valentine's Day present... wait for it...

He tells me it isn't a very Valentines-esque gift, but something we need...

...Some storage containers for the kitchen...

...Yes, my husband has ordered the Wow containers!!

So I told him about this thread, and we decided once they get here we will return them and spend the money on some Lock and Lock instead! lol
