just a quick self indulgent post if I may - for the first time in a very long time my digital scales were able to actually show me a number for % body fat rather than just "Err h" or "error too high". that means I'm making progress at last - yeh!!!! now one must pick up on exercise and hopefully some more improvement is to come
Cherished - don't be disheartened by the conversion of 0.3kg into 0% it will add in next week and I'm sure you'll have a higher number there. .3kg is a nice healthy weight loss too - my understanding is a nice steady reduction is more likely to be sustainable.
belfie - great discipline going for the walk even though you aren't feeling 100% - hope your bug continues to leave you to help with motivation to exercise.
hope everyones had a good couple of days since weigh in and is gliding towards the weekend with tonnes of motivation to eat well, exercise regularly and indulge only a smidge (i agree with ali I can't cut out indulgences completely or I go off the rails faster than I got on)

I got a Wii and Wii Fit last night, just started setting up my profile this morning will finish when i get home from work yayy so much fun :dance:! I really hope i stick with it :lol: lol AF is in full force atm, evil lady so not feeling too motivated, although my new toy (wii) is keeping me interested hehe

I have been a bit housebound this week with a sick snotty 3yo so haven't been able to exercise as much as I would like :( I have tried to be good but ate a bowl of ice-cream with aktavite last night - my throat was feeling a bit sore and I thought it might help :redface:

Turkish - We have pizza night every Tuesday night and I'm not worried. We order from a gourmet place with 1/2 prices on Tues, and their pastry is not all greasy like like some places where even the box gets all grease on the bottom (ech!), so I just switched to thin crust and cut out any fatty meats off the top, cut the garlic bread and count slices. Good pizza is actually not any worse for you then any other dinner in moderation. Don't beat yourself up about it, but maybe cut the g bread next time. :D
Am putting off housework. Baby is sleeping, it's really what I should be doing, naughty me wasting time on BB. Have kicked my flu, yay, feel post-flu lethargic - starting to excercise properly again is NOT going to be fun.

Got my wii fit last night. Funny its MY wii but havent used it yet as dp is glued to the bloody thing. I must admit its quite amusing watching him try hoola hooping haha. Have a good weekend ladies hehe

Sorry I haven't been around much in the last few days ladies. Just had a bit going on. I did my bootcamp sesions this week on Mon, Wed, Fri and this morning I am going to a boxing class that our bootcamp trainer offers to us for free if we do more than two bootcamps during the week so I am going to go and try it out. I will have to get ready soon to head out it starts at 6:30am but I will have to rug up because it is in the park and it is freezing this morning :wall:

Rainbow Raver I wouldn't call it cheating at all if you are using the shakes. I occasionally have one from breakfast myself if I am a bit short on time.

Urgh it has been an awful week here.
But am soldiering on.
Work reopened yesterday which is a nightmare (KFC! :doh:) but I don't normally eat at work it's fitting in real meals and exercise around work that is the problem.
DF was a big motivation in me getting out and walking and with me working five nights out of seven my self-motivation will really diminish. But I guess all I can do is hope for the best and try and work out another plan of attack....
It's very quiet in here, where is everyone?

Not sooo bad weekend for me, did a lot of wiiing (FINALLY dragged DP off it!) which was fun, and went uhmm sea biscuiting? Lol idk what you call it but being towed behind a boat on a blow up thingy yesterday. Weigh in and measure up tomorrow, not looking forward to my results!!

Must have been a weekend for pizza, we had it too.
Haven't been doing as much excercise as I would hope, and I am meant to be at training now- but DS woke up a few times between 4:30-5:30 and my wonderful DH got up to him, so when he wouldnt go back to sleep at 5:30 I got up with him and decided to stay home so DH could get in a bit more rest.
I am finding my weight loss has slowed down alot, so I took all my measurements this morning and looked back at my measurements that I took for the begining of the Jan Challenge, and when I added them together with the measurements lost on my thighs I have lost 44cms total, I have found that looking at that has refocused me and given me the motivation to push on.
I hope everyone had a great weeknd and I am looking forward to seeing everyone's results in the next couple of days.

BAD weekend for me, most weekends are! Can't remember what I ate on Saturday, actually no, Saturday wasn't too bad. yesterday wasn't bad either but I did share a large KFC chips with DH. Went to my WW weigh in on Saturday, expecting to see a gain, but no!! :) 600g loss, puts me exactly on 10% loss from my official WW journey!! I lost an extra 2 before starting WW, so in total I've lost 10.2kg since new year!! I never thought I could do it! Once I reach my personal goal (4.4kg to go!) I'll see if I can push myself to lose another 5kg - to be in the healthy BMI range... But that said, I'd be happy to just lose the remaining 4.4kg!
I'm toddler free today (until I have to start work) so the housework is going to get done, dinner cooked and hopefully there's enough time for eyetoy play and a walk...
