Ali Wow 44cm :clap: that is fantastic. It is so good that you have that so you can look back and see how far you have come. Don't worry too much about your weight loss slowing down a little. If you are still losing the cm you are probably gaining some muscle and toning up a bit with your training.
Amy Yay that you got to have a go on the wii. The sea biscuit thing sounds like fun.
Cookiemonster :doh: about work opening again. That sucks. Hopefully you will be able to get a walk in whenever you have a little time. Try not to lose your motivation. We are all cheering you on :dance:
AFM - Had bootcamp this morning. Was only a really small group today (everyone must have been enjoying their warm beds) We hit the circuit room today at the gym which was good for something different. We also did a bit of running up and down the stairs and at the end she got us to do push ups up the stairs (a bit hard to explain) and I managed to do it!!! I was so proud of myself because usually I do push ups on my knees but I did these properly :dance: I had to let out a bit of a woohoo when I did it lol.
I am thinking about looking into WW online. I think I need some sort of program which makes me accountable for what I eat and I think if I am recording it all online maybe that will help me. Has anyone tried it?

ktgirl are you after something to record your food intake, if so you should ckeck out calorie king, google it. I use it and its completely free :lol:

Had another bad weekend :( It was DP's 40th Birthday Party so lots to eat and drink and party food etc. I am now sick so won't be able to go to the gym and weigh my self today in all likelihood. I will just have to go on cm lost I think (if I have lost any....). I had been doing so well during the week too!

Bad weekend too plus I had AF last week so I know I haven't lost anything!
I have my bro's Wii and Fit gonna have fun using that from now on!!!

Kate- Don't you find it so exhilirating when you realise you can do more difficult excercises than before, or run for longer than you have ever been able too. I dont think I have ever enjoyed excercising as much as I do now that I am working with my PT group, and getting fitter.
I managed to get out for a jog yesterday morning, I can't believe I am actualley jogging round the streets these days, and whats more I am enjoying it. Had a good loss this week, 1.2kgs- feeling pretty pleased.
I hope everyone see's some results they are hoping for this week, and if not please remember this is only 1 week out of 52 in the year. GL everyone

Loss of about 400g this week, which is better than my gain last week. All cms went down except waist =( now i have my wii and the new gym near my house opens soon so i will be expecting big things to come hehe

The end of week 2 is near! :pray::pray:I have tried really hard this week although not much exercise due to sick children - still! Argh! Although I did manage a 40 min and a 30 min walk last week pushing a double pram which is about 25kg. That has to be of some use. lol
I seriously thought and thought of a low recipe but nothing came to mind. The methods / habits I use/have developed over the years are low fat / healthy so I thought I might share those with you. They are no brainers really!
* stem vegies
* cook with olive oil when a fat is needed
* drink low fat milk - I am a big coffee drinker and have cereal in the mornings.
* trim all meat of fat, rarely eat chicken skin..but it is yummy!
* have snags once a week and bacon maybe once a month and grill them
* i use full cream cheese (for thekids and cheaper than buying 2 lots)so limit it to saturdays and sundays only and only once on those days
* rarely eat deep fried gunk
* not three, but four begies with dinner most nights
* fruit 2-3 times a day, depending on my day
* 2L + of water
* no snacks such as museli bars
* fish 2-3 times a week whether it be tinned tuna over a salad or oven cooked fish
....think that is all. After reading that.....why doI have a belly and butt???????:rolleyes:

Well I was petrified of having a gain this week - I got over my bug, but was just really down/stressed/unmotivated so haven't really done much. But I've broken even. lost 100gm (tehe) and both lost and gained 2cm - so net change zero!
But I'm hoping this week will be a better week! Re recipes, I made a slow cooker chilli beef last night, and just had a bit of low fat sour cream and some quacamole, but avoided the cheese to make it a bit healthier yay!
KTgirl - I've been doing WW online and found it great for the first little while - lost about 4-5 kgs doing it. I found even if I wasn't strict about monitoring my food I was still eating about the right amount & losing weight anyway. Then my life got super chaotic and it all went out the window - but I'm hopeful of getting back into it soon.
I have to say, I'm super envious of the joggers. I used to LOVE running, but I can't do it anymore (prolapse issues) and I really miss it :( I know I can go walking, but it just doesn't give you the same buzz. Plus I've gotta be really careful about doing weights for hte same reason too - my physio has advised me to avoid them for the moment. I just wish I could to my old gung-ho type of trainign lol even though I know I can still lose weight & get fit with the slow/low impact sensible approach *sigh* oh well that's my little vent out of the way. :doh:

to anyone (like me!) who's stayed the same or gained - hang in there, we CAN get there. Sometimes I'm tempted to not post or acknowledge if I haven't progressed, but i know it will help me get back on the wagon again... I ate well yesterday, gonna do better today AND go for a walk!

i too, have been naughy this past weekend.
All i did was eat, eat, eat, eat and eat some more. I craved sweets like i had never before. I gave in. I ate sweet and savoury pastries, 3/4 of a big block of top deck choc, 1/2 packet of columbines, had KFC, left over pizza, big breakfasts on both days. I just binged and it felt good.
I was too scared to hop on the scales on Monday morning, but went and did a 2hr workout last night and was really good with yesterday, so i hopped on the scales this morning to my delight that i hadn't gained anything. So a no gain, i am pretty happy about, considering all the food i ate and only twice going to the gym.
I promised myself that i will be really good this week and see if i get a loss as i have plateaued considering i usually sweat like a pig at the gym.
I don't eat dinner, i wounder if that could be a reason why i've stopped?
I've got my jogging workout tonight... I dread it with a passion.

I gained after last weeks weigh in as I had AF and stuffed myself stupid!
Tonight we are having SLOW COOKER MINESTRONE and tomorrow we are having slow cooked country chicken and then we will have a treat for Master Js birthday on thursday and friday we will have another slow cooked meal and saturday is a family lunch party for Master J and then my DF, his bestie, my bro, his GF, my sis, her DP and myself are having a p!$$ up! So i'm going to be getting on the Wii everyday to balance it all out!
What do you ladies with the Wii Fit concerntrate on most? What exercise!?

oooo good question MK i've been wondering myself!! I start with the step one to warm up (the slower one) then do the faster one (not sure if you know the one im talking about) then long distance running, then some yoga poses and have just started trying the muscle ones. That was this mornings routine anyway hehe what about you!! I need to get a slow cooker, so many people i know rave about them!

off to the fruit and veg shop, theres a nice little one near work and every time you spend $20 or more you get a stamp and 10th stamp you get $20 of free groceries, pretty cool i thought!

Hi girlies, well done to all those with a loss.... I put on 200g! haven't done the measurements yet but will email them tonight when I get home from work :p I am very happy though that I have again put on muscle and lost fat and my metabolism has increased... I did have heaps more fluid than normal... AF is just around the corner (or I'm pg... I'm testing tomorrow unless AF shows up so :crossfingers:)

MelanieKate - lol another one who loves the slow cooker, aren't they awesome? I'm a new addict, only got mine a few weeks ago. Re the Wii Fit, I'm not allowed to do the muscle bit, so I do yoga, balance and the low impact cardo - I also like the step one. I tend to just do whatever I feel like generally.
aamy4 - hehe now I want to do step!
Well we had some timber delivered to our place today and I discovered it could only be delivered kerbside. So I helped my builder by carrying it all down the back. I just took the girlie light bits lol, but I reckon I got a great workout - woo hoo!

Well even though I had a bad weekend, plus wasn't feeling too good, thanks to DH and his cold, I lost some weight and cm's so I'm happy. Off to PM Trillian my results.
Keep up the good work everyone, the slower it comes off the better chance it will stay off for good :D.

baaaaaaaaaadd week here.
AF is still hanging around and I hardly got out of bed today. :(
So considering my week started and ended with AF it's safe to assume i will have gained.
But i lost some more cm despite the limited walking, so got to be happy with that.
Congrats everyone on the results this week.

Hey everyone! I have got quite a few pms and emails, so I will wait till this afternoon and post them all to give everyone a chance to get theirs in.
Cookiemonster, I will do threads in two weekly brackets, so everyone doesn't get lost all the time trying to get into the groove of a new thread if they aren't on that much kwim? :)
I am doing ww online, and as much as I find it really great, I miss not having a meeting to keep me honest kwim? I think when I have lost a little bit more I will get a personal trainer.
