my measurements are in and my way to a healthier life is underway - busy times over the next few days so that will help to keep the chance to sit down and eat to a minimum - thankfully!!!

I am going to set myself mini challenges as I go along, I have been on a weight loss journey since the start of the year, but still find myself forgetting some of the basics. So to start with this week, I am going to set myself the goal of drinking more water- which I find incredibly difficult in winter.

Yep, Pap, that's fine to do it. This week was more for yourself so you can get a baseline for your measurments before you start, but today will be fine.
I must say I am super impressed with the response! And I think I will even join you LOL - I have been putting it off for sooooo long and I really need to get my butt into gear.

I think you should join us Trill - you will be putting in work for everyone else - like all Mums do - so take some time and do it for yourself as well :)

I drove past 2 maccas and a ferguson plairs and was so tempted to stop but just kept going with a little gremlin in my head saying we are going to eat healthy we Are going to exercise!!!
i have just emailed my measurements..cool something to get me motivated..now for the excersise ???
I am going to start the exercising part of my journey with a 6 week boot camp. Its 3 days a week ..... at (wait for it) 6.15 AM! lol

Ali- that idea on the water challenge is a good one! At work, or during summer i am really good BUT, it is so hard during winter or when im just at home! Go figure! I do reckon it is a massive part of my problem, as i know my liver will not function the way it needs to if i do not drink water! :wall: lol

I am feeling a little sore today. I started a bootcamp on Monday. Pap I hear your pain mine starts at 5:30am :doh: I haven't done much exercise for quite some time and when I did it was only walking so I am not very fit. I have sore muscles from Monday and then today I get there and we had to do a fitness test :wall: so that meant the dreaded beep test oh lordy was I stuffed. Hopefully in 6 weeks time I will be able to beat my dismal score from today. Picking up twins all day with sore muscles is no fun... but it will be worth it when I see some results from this.
I just had morning tea - low fat yoghurt and grapes so I am proud I have not given into bikkies for morning tea!!
How is everyone going with the water drinking?
