Hi Tammie - yay for a great night out!
great to focus on how far you have come and to keep going.
128kg today! 1 KG down.
I'm happy with that, it's been a stressful week with so much going on!
So this week
Start 94.4kg
Last week 95.7kg
This week 96.0kg
at least it's only a 300g gain for the week.
Still spotting last week so booked on Friday for GP visit tomorrow (stopped spotting finally on Saturday and haven't since :dunno:) hopefully it doesn't keep happening now. Didn't get down to the Hypoxi thing - went shopping for DS - a wooden table and chairs and just ran out of time (DS woke 2hrly the night before so a brief snooze after CC drop off was too attractive) Will try to ring and book in for Hypoxi thing this week. Still doing the 12 000 steps school days (not hard with all the steps there) only problem is I think I've been slightly compensating for it with food at school.
Will start the measuring this week I'm still not convinced DS hasn't stuffed the scales so will have to fit that in this week.
(did have a surprise wedding to go to on Saturday - was only supposed to be a christening/1st birthday party - so a reasonable amount of food there - but I didn't over do it for a change on the food - and only one alcoholic drink and coke, water for the rest of the night)
Thanks for the support Cath. :)
Great work on the 1kg loss Kimmi - that's such awesome news. What are you doing to lose the weight?
Leckert, it's prob a really good thing you're going to dr, sounds like your body might be a bit out of whack ATM. Hopefully you can get that sorted out and it makes weightloss easier. The wedding sounds fun though, did they always plan on getting married or just last minute?
How's everyone else doing?
I don't think they were originally planning to get married this soon (they have two littlies) as last year when I was working with the bride she said they weren't planning for a while - so nice surprise for everyone - apparently the bride had been planning it most of this year at least and getting stressed over it while trying to teach as well.
Congratulations on all the weight loss!!! I haven't posted for a while but I have still been following the thread. My weight is as follows;
start weight 7th Jan: 138kg
7th Feb: 129.8kg
7th March: 123.3kg
My next goal is to try to get to 118kg by 7th April. The best thing I ever done was get Dh to do it with me, it has made it so much easier. Dh and I have been going to the gym 3 times a week and the kids have been going to the gym childcare. I am also starting to do zumba at home. And I do 30mins wii step a couple of times a week. We have also changed how we eat. I am loving the gym and all of it really. We missed the gym this morning cause ds was up vomiting all night and I feel disappointed we didn't get to go. We are going on holidays on Saturday so we will have to try to keep off the takeaway and exercise as much as possible. There is a pool and gym at the resort so at should make it easier. Good luck to everyone this week. :D
AWESOME AWESOME work Yowie.
I'm a bit of a lurker here too but drawing inspiration. I committed 2 weeks ago to steer clear of fast food for a week...and I did..for a week. The power of a committment. Time to do it again. No fast food, no matter how late it is, how hungry I am...I'll find another way.
Hi Girls,
I've been moving house so I don't have an internet connection at home (doing the sneaky check at work)
Things have been so up and down, but I have managed to lose 500grams. I'm now 128.5kgs.
I must remember it's much better than the 143.5kgs I was.
I have a new dog, an RSPCA rescue, so DP and I are committed to walking him every night. Two nights ago, I even did a section of running! I felt AMAZING for doing it :)
 So i started this thread ages ago and I havnt been on here in ages, Ok so I have started a new job (which I love atm) I stopped Lite N easy at the end of Jan but ive managed to lose 9.2kg since Jan so Im kinda happy with that. How has everyone else been going? I will be back on tonight to record my weigh again.
Good luck all
Tracy
Thanks for the add tracy on FB, I'm doing ok,..... I'm stuck at 14-15kgs but actually got a new wind today! Looking forward to the future!
I have only lost a few extra kg's since joining here... But my total is 20 so I'm still happy.
I'm having this week off and will start again after Easter. I'm not eating silly, just not been as strict!
I'll be back later, just about to get Eli into bed.
xx
I've been thinking about you guys (xoxo)
I have been so distracted, I may have even put a little on - haven't checked in a while...at best I am stable.
My world has been the(happy) distraction of TTC and choosing a new home. Motherhood...study....always busy busy it seems, and yet not...always putting off actively losing weight.... so it is a nice reminder to see this thread pop up again..a gentle nudge...
thanks. xo
Well, I've been a bit of a lurker on BB lately so haven't been on as much - still getting used to being in the classroom nearly fulltime again after spending most of my time in the school library for the past 3 years. Finally got to do the Hypoxi thing this week had to use all three sessions in a 7 day period. I have to say it works - lost 13cm and 1.4kg in that time. The hard thing was no BFing DS for 4-6 hrs after going or eating carbs for the same time (including a number of my usual veg). If DS wasn't still BFing to sleep (or near to sleep) at night I'd probably go and do it a bit more but the times the place is open doesn't suit me to do it any other way. And I couldn't use the machine that would be best for where my extra weight is (tummy mostly) as it's contra-indicted during BFing. Still heavier than when I started in this thread but :dunno: I suppose I'm heading in the right direction now
 I DID IT  Im in the 130's ok so it might not seem like much to other people but im so proud of myself, im in tears :D Next goal is to get to 135 im not giving myself huge goals but hopefully realstic ones.
Go TracyH - well done!
Hi, i just found this thread and was wondering if i could join?
I have a 10 week old DD, luckly i didn't put any weight on during my pregnancy my ob said i was loosing it and she was putting it on (a whole 9lb 8oz!) Since having DD i have lost another 15kg and i'm down to 125kg :hide: I seem to have hit a flat spot and i need modivation.
I hope you don't mind me joining, I look forward to getting to know everyone.
I'm getting married in 2 months and I just want to lose a little more :(
I've had a really rough 6 weeks or so, with little to no extra weight loss.
HELP!
Leckert, can you tell me more about hypoxi?
link to Qld branches (a google on "hypoxi body" should pull up the national hypoxi site and then you can follow the links from there)
opps pressed post before I finished.
Agghhhh computer ate my nice post ... be back in a moment with some more - posting this so that I don't lose some of the changes again. (make that later today DS is just waking up)
Okay back for a bit
the process Hypoxi uses (vauccum and + & - pressure) apparently was originally designed to help athletes recover. The location I went to only had 2 of the machines - a bike; targeting below belly button; and a treadmill where you put a wetsuit looking thing on, targeting boobs down.
other basic things - can't do carbs for 4-6 hrs after working out (1/2 hr on a machine) when starting they say you need to do it 3 times a week for 3-4 weeks to re-set your body metabolism (or something like that)
bbl - ds wants to play with laptop
Sorry forgot about the link - was there to remind me were it was and to change it later but DS distracted me
Will someone tell me taking the dog to the park is a good idea! I want to, just need motivation! So hard.
I'm also going to clean off my weights today and get a little toning done!
Walking the dog is a fantastic idea. Any cardio will help. Go for it Kimmi!
 WOOHOO i have lost 10kg since I started this thread, I keep thinking thats 10 bags of the 1kg potatoes that the supermarket sells, i cant imagine carrying them around every day. Im so proud of myself, here we go current weight 139.2
Good luck to everyone else, especially over the easter weekend
Hi everyone. Noone has posted for a while so I thought I would bump things up and update.
How is everyone going??
My stats are as follows; My start weight 7th Jan: 138kg, 7th Feb: 129.8kg, 7th March: 123.3kg, by 30th April back up to 129.7 started ww current weight 115.6kg. lost in 6weeks at weight watchers 14.1kg, total lost 22.4kg.
I am loving doing weight watchers. I find it pretty easy to stick to with the new propoints. I track everything I eat and am doing heaps of exercise. I tried doing ww online before but i found i couldn't do it alone, I really need the meeting to be accountable and motivated. I got a sliver key ring today for reaching my 10% goal :). My next goals are 5% and 10% off my current weight, so first goal is 109.8kg and second is 104kg.
I hope everyone is well.
Awesome stuff!!!! Well done you.
My first step on the scales since Oliver was born was 17th April (5 days after) and I was 136.4kgs.
Weighed in Monday just been (and again tonight) at 121.2kgs.
I'm keeping track on my blog (see below) my cm's and my journey but the last two weeks I haven't been as motivated. Clicked three days ago my depression has been creeping back into my life so it makes sense that I haven't been on track.
I need to get back on to the water and stop the soft drinks!!!
Hi Guys its been some time since I have posted here but have had some things happening in my life and completely forgot this thread until I got an email for this post today. LOL Well I have finally got my head around things and have started doing shakes. Monday is the begining of my 3rd week and so far I have lost kilos not counting my weigh in tomorrow. I have been replacing 2 meals and having a healthy dinner and snacks. I have yet to exercise so I am going to start off small. My starting weight was 132 kgs so have heaps to loose. I am not doing the shakes for ever just doing them as a kick start until I feel comfortable in my head that I can control my food addiction to sweets lol. The shakes have been good for me and am feeling full on them just need to drink some water actally start drinking it I have been so slack winter and water are not a good combination for me lol.
well I will keep all of you posted and together we will be a great support for all of us to achieve the bodies we deserve .
take care and you can all do it !!!
Well done Ladies!!! :D
Bumping this up as it has been a while since anyone has been in here.
How is everyone going?
I am still breastfeeding DD3, but I decided enough is enough and I joined Jenny Craig. I am doing their breastfeeding plan and I start tomorrow. So far, all the foods look really good and I am wondering how I am going to eat so much in a day!
My DS1 & I also purchased Zumba for Wii and I will be starting that as soon as I feel up to it. Anyone done it before?
I am going to be doing JC for around 2 years, so I am here for the long haul, but in my past experiences I know that the longer it takes the lose the weight, the more your lifestyle changes along with your appearance.
Eeeeek! I am so excited about seeing the person who will be looking out of the mirror at me at the end of all of this!!!
Well since my june 12th Post I have lost weight and now have put it all back on. I am really struggling at the moment I started back last week I just ate normally and cut down my portions and cut out sweets and in 5 days dropped 2 kilos I felt great then on the weekend I still watched what I ate like having subway for dinner and when I jumped on the scales to officially weigh in I lost only 500 grams Weekends are my killer in my journey I am thinking that if I do shakes on the weekends only would this work When I am home during the week I do ok but weekends I relax more with hubby home and tend to eat more even if its the right thing. What are your suggestions I am now weighing 131.2kgs and am wanting to get to at least 80kgs, but am aiming for 5 kgs at a time. I did not exercise at all last week as my back is crook but am looking to get into it again.
I have also considered joining the biggest loser online club can any of you ladies recommend it.
well chat laster and keep you posted
xxx
Danielle
I just had a look at your blog and I am thinking I will do the same I was looking at writing a journal but doing an online blog will be so much better keeping track of my progress. I as have you have made excuses not to lose weight but in reality we should be looking at reasons why we need to lose weight and my 2 boys who I see on the florr before me are my reason even though its an important reason I still end up not succeeding and finding excuses not to keep going. When I get some quiet time I will start to blog
Thanks for inspiring me to do this
karen
Hi ladies. I am still doing weight watchers. My stats are as follows; My start weight 7th Jan: 138kg, started ww on 30th April at 129.7kg, my current weight on 6th Aug 105.9kg. Total lost 32.1kg. I am dying to get under the 100kg mark. I don't think I am going to do well this week cause I injured my knee on sunday so I havent been able to walk and I normally do 90mins walk most days. I hope everyone is well. xo
