lol Alison - even though I know how bad diet coke is, I cannot give it up. We've switched to caffeine free version though...and man I've had a headache. I've also switched (thanks Bella) to green tea again.
Yeah Suz, same as you it's not really my choices that are terrible, it's the size of the portions and the lack of exercise. We eat a lot of veges I've discovered. We have two vege nights every week (much to DH's disgust). We did eat a lot of chocolate though and have cut that right out along with crappy desserts.
I'm not a huge bread eater so that's not the culprit, but I am a bit partial to wraps for lunch.
For me it was a definite lack of exercise, and now I do try to some most days.
Last night DH who has had a really stressful week (so you can imagine my week ) wanted pizza. I told him OK as long as we went for a walk first. Well the walk got extended because we walked right past a drug deal and didn't want to have to explain to DD so had to walk the long way home. Then I didn't feel so bad about the pizza for dinner.
However, saying all that, I am definitly having a very over it day. I'm sick of counting calories, I'd love to eat just what I wanted, and I can't be arsed doing any exercise at all.
I know it will get better and weigh-in is only 2 days away but.....baaahhh over it.

I am still here ladies, just having lots of sleep trouble with the little man :( i haven't hardly lost anything!!! 58 kilos now so only lost 2 kilos.
-
Kim:  It's hard isn't it. I know what you mean about just wanting to eat whatever you want - I've been feeling like that a lot recently. I find that exercise is the best thing though - when I'm wanting something I shouldn't, once I've done some exercise I find I don't crave it as much. I'm glad I can go to gym, cause it means I can vary my exercise a lot - swimming, gym equipment, classes, and then walking.
GabberQueen: Sorry to hear about sleep troubles - I know exactly what you mean! 58kg! I'd love to be that, lol.
AFM: I've been average with my food lately. Not bad, but not great. I'm not eating enough fruit and vegies, and I've been snacking on Malt biscuits a lot. No full-on junk food though. Exercise is still going well. I went to gym Monday and Tuesday night, went for a walk with a pram walking group on Wednesday, went to a class Thursday morning and gym Thursday night. Tomorrow I'm planning on a big gym session too - so for exercise I'm pretty good. I think I'll have had a loss this week - I hope it's a decent one!
Sorry no other personals, can only see this page.
Good luck everyone!

Thanks Sterla. Wow you sound so positive, and your exercise is excellent. Can't wait to move somewhere permanent and find a gym.
Well I found my mojo again...in one of the oddest places. Cos of the weightloss my cossie is all saggy and gross. So I bought another one. Just a cheapy off eBay from China. Well, it arrived today and it looks pretty good :o ...even if I do say so myself... I was so surprised cos who like trying on cossies, but I actually felt good in it. I even wore it down to the pool (yes it's still that warm here) with Darc - lol but it was too cold to get it wet. And I took off my towel to chase Nate.
So I have renewed my vigour and will be back on the wagon tomorrow. Hoping my little binge today didn't have too much impact. i was actually a bit cranky about what I had eaten after I felt so good, so I will hang onto that.
ETA, I don't actually actually know how much I've lost. Wii only gives you what you've lost or gained not your actual weight - you have to look for that...must do that tomorrow.
-
Kim - I'm so over the calorie counting and exercise too, maybe I should give myself a day off? Way to get your mojo back :)
Sterla - Wow you are putting the work in, hope you get the result you're hoping for this week.
GabberQueen - Sorry you're having sleep dramas and hope they resolve soon.
Krys - How's the vertigo going?
Off to have a green tea. Boot Camp tomorrow morning! I was so happy just to be in my healthy BMI weight range, with a waist under 87cm, that for a while there I lost motivation. But I want to be fit, toned and somewhere in the middle of my BMI range, so this weekend I'm making new goals for the rest of the Challenge.
-
Go Suz!...ps slightly jealous of your boot camp
-
Kim - It's awesome! A girl in my Mother's Group is friends with a Personal Trainer and asked if we wanted to organise some regular sessions, back when our toddler's were babies. I've only just gotten off my butt to join them, so of course the other Mums have been going since the start and are much much fitter. But it's perfect for me as it's the kind of training that I enjoy the most, it's cheap because we share the PT ($5 each no matter how many of us there are), it's social because we all know each other, I can take my boys with me and trust that there's other eyes watching them and often other kids to play with (and sometimes Dads babysitting while us Mums exercise), it's outside in the fresh air, I could go on and on!
-
Weighed in this morning and am very happy! Lost 1.5kg, and quite a few cms, especially from my waist. Good to know all my hard work is paying off! The way I'm going I should definitely be under 90kg by next week!
-
Sterla- Way to go hun. You worked so hard with all of your exercise this week. I saw a recent ic of you on FB with MissyMoo's baby boy and you are looking fantastic!
Suz- What a fabulous deal and a great way to get mums involved. All the PT around my area is so expensive.
Kim- That is a great way to find your motivation. You have been working hard and its great to put something on and feel good in it. Keep it up hun. I actually got all my swimmers out from the past 5 years. Can you believe it but they all range between a gorgeous size 10 red bikini right up to a size 18 one piece. I have kept them all as they are in such good condition as they have rarely been worn. Hoping to get into the size 10 one day but will be over the moon if I am in a size 12 toned with curves in the right places byt the time I get to Fiji in September.
GabberQueen- 2Kg is still great hun. Much better than putting 2 Kg on. We are all still here whenever you want to pop in for some motivation
Krys- How are you going?
AFM- Really happy this week as I have lost 1.6Kg! I have reached the 80's! I have been so disciplined with my eating. DP even went and got KFC last night and I said no. I was so glad that I did as I am sure if I had said yes, the scales would reflect that choice in a bad way. I have gone down 3 notches on my belt since starting this challenge and am def in need of a smaller pair of jeans but am resisting buying yet. All of the pants that I was wearing now require me to wear a belt otherwise they fall down. Such a good feeling. My bras are fitting a lot better now as well. Dont get me wrong, my BBs are still massive which I hate but they arent as squashed now LOL!
-
Bella:  Well done honey!!! I am so proud of you! I'll be there soon too :).
-
-
Well done  Sterla, Bella and GabberQueen!
I am still sore from Boot Camp on Saturday, but it's good sore IYKWIM.
Lost 1.1kg here and some more cms :D

Well done everyone! Exactly the same here, better than putting on I guess but disappointed nonetheless. I had family over yesterday and had pizza and chocolate so didn't help. I did do an 8km walk on Friday though! Hoping for a result this week!

Jump right in Pam....although when you're ready of course ;)
Don't worry Alison, I only lost 100gm this week. I truely don't think it was because of my little bender though. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm at the bottom end (I know I should be grateful it's just frustrating) and it's going to start to plateau :wall:
Suz, GQ, Sterla and Bella  you go girls!!! Keep it up - i need the kick up the bum ;)
I think i lost some cms this week, but I don't keep a running tally - I rely on poor Krys. Cos i'm still feeding there isn't a whole lot of extreme stuff I can do to kickstart the plateau....
