Body Transformation Challenge Week 3!

Went for another HUGE walk this morning, added heaps more blocks onto my route, when we went out in the car we measured the distance an it was just under 5km's. I did it all in under an hour, even with a stop to call the fire brigade, as I had walked past an oval and someone had set fire to some wheelie bins and pushed them up against the change rooms, one bin hd completley melted and the flames were licking up the side of the building. I didnt stick around though, once I had made the call I carried on, the operator lady said I didnt have to wait. So that was my excitment for the day!

Well this weekend has been a write off!!

AF suprised me on Thursday (I ran out of my pill) and the family converged on Friday which meant that there was SOOOO much food!! My Mum and Aunty cooked all weekend and I ate all weekend! I only had one alcoholic drink so I didn't slip up on that this weekend at least. I have a terrible headache today and feel really bleh.

Going for a big walk/jog tonight when it gets a bit cooler and then step aerobics tomorrow night. I am willing to bet I have gained this week. So dissapointed after all the work I put in on Wednesday and Thursday! I am still not deterred and I am just putting this down to a bad weekend - it won't send me back into my old habits - NO WAY!!

i know this is probably bad, but i give myself the weekend off from walking.. Got a long week off this wkend! I did walk around a car display and play with Jensen in the park today tho. Omg i can't believe a lamington is worth 5.5pts! Had one anyway. I had a few pts up my sleeve.

Ww - i was saying to my mil that i thought i should have lost more weight than i have (1.5kg since this started) . I also was saying that i only eat 18pts a day, when ww says i can have 22. She said that i should eat the 22 and i'd lose more... Is that how it works? And also, if something is worth 6pts and i only eat half, is it only 3pts?

Hi Scone - If you have 22 points try to use them on healthy things and keep to them otherwise it may help for a few weeks but longer term can make it hard when your body adjusts to that number of points. I actually think WW gives you too few points and that you should gradually go down to their recommended points, otherwise you can yoyo with them. But you are right with the half the points thing. If you only eat half it is half the points. HTH

Went for a 6km walk last night (to my parents house) and then went with them to take the dogs for a walk - so another 1km there!

I was planning on another aerobics session tonight but my girlfriend is badly sunburnt and isn't up for it - and I can't go without my gym buddy! I think I will do the same 6km walk tonight but try and beat my time. It took me an hour to walk it so I'm going to try and jog it in half an hour tonight.

Suddenly this afternoon my legs are ACHING to the point where I don't want to even get up from my desk!! Off to take some fish oil tablets and hope that it settles down before my jog tonight.

I have weighed and measured myslef today and I have put on a kg and cm's.....af turned up this arvo though and I feel like crap, huge backache and tummy ache...yuck! So I'm not going to submit my measurements this week :redface:
We go to Adelaide tomorrow, and I'm hoping I can be good enough not to gain back any more weight! It's supposed to be stinking hot there too, so that might help in that I won't want to eat, LOL! We'll be exploring and going to the beach too. Adn I'll be sweating my arse off! So I won't be around for the next week or so.

I did pilates class tonight and it was a great workout, the instructor really pushed me tonight.

lilias - am hearing ya babe, AF showed up this arvo for me too and I feel all so very fat, bloated and blergh. I'm glad I went to pilates though because it helped me feel a bit better. Good luck for the next week.

Weighed myself today! Woo! 100g loss.... No biggie, but AF decided to pay me a visit today (and if it isn't her, and she's faking something else is going on!)

400g!!

That takes into account the weight I put on over the last couple of weeks (muscle I think) so really it's only a loss of 100g if you consider that. I also measured this week and that showed results too!!

Hi Girls,

Hope you are all going well. Had a good loss this week of 1.1kgs. Went to a BBQ on Australia Day and drank a bottle of that low cal/low alcohol LINDEMANS EARLY HARVEST so not too bad. Only lost 0.1kgs last week so it must have caught up with me this week.

Keep up the good work!

No loss for me this week in weight or cms,so a bit disappointed, but no gain either.

Well done everyone. Looks like we're starting to make some good progress.

I've only lost a little, but gained cm's. I was a bit disappointed until DH told me my hip measurement was bigger because my bottoms not sagging anymore, lol! I think he's quite happy ;). We bought a cross trainer which comes next week so hopefully I'll be doing better with my cardio exercise.

I have noticed little changes - like my bum and hips feel firmer. I can feel my hip bones again! My Aunty commented on my little waist over the weekend! I have always been bottom heavy so it's nice to have my little top half back again!

You want to hear something stupid?? I have lost weight in one of the most POINTLESS places.

My wrists suddenly look TINY and my watch isn't fitting properly - it flips around all day. How weird is that???????

Glad to see everyone is still making progress, and if not going forward at least not going to far back. I lost all of what I gained last week plus an extra 200gm- so I am back onto my target of 600gm a week. I am still shedding the cm's though which I am extra stoked about, and I am actualley starting to feel the difference and see the difference in my clothes............woohoo.
My challenge starts this week, as I head back to work tomorrow- so i really need to stay focued on my goals, and resist morning teas etc.

Lilias stick with it hun, I know how hard it can be my DH is a major subator always got sweet stuff around, although that could change he is havign a few health problems and his diet just might have to change????? Good luck this week away, it will be hard in the heat, but try as best as you can.

woops didnt post my stats to lucy this week but I have lost cm's and 500g so I am really happy. I was too lazy to cook yesterday and it was 45C so we got KFC. Oh well new day today Im not going to let one slip up let me go back to bad habits.

for a sweet treat I am loving the nestle peppermint aero mouse it is only 1 point per tub, almost as good as the chocolate

My sis is ok for now just on bedrest. The bleed was unexplained and for now bubs is doing well. Just a huge scare for all of us.

Not doing very well this week. Having some serious relationship issues so feeling really down which is making been good really hard.
