Well today is my "official" weigh in day and I'm down 1.6kg YAY I know that its porbbably all fluid as my wedding ring is no longer cutting the circulation in my finger but it's still a start!
I also know how frustrating it can be too get below that magic figure only to wake up and be above it the next day Thats how I am with the 100kg mark
A few weeks ago I was 100.1 for 3 weeks then gave up totally.... Just need to keep reminding yourself that about 1kg can be differences in fluid soooooo big breath and weigh again the next day
to everyone getting to the 60's oh to be there!

I just got back from my walk - I actually jogged half of each lap! I used to love running long distance in primary school (haha! Very distant memory). I'd like to work back to being able to jog for longer.

    time4myself - well done! That's great.

julie_ann_jules - that's fabulous, congrats! And yes, I agree, the fluid thing can be a shocker... sounds like you're well prepared for the ups & downs that happen!

sas85 - oooh oooh congrats to you too I'm so pleased for you! You can do it on the extra 2.5 and I'll see you in the TTC threads! Oh and I'm so with you on the muffin top... only I called a cake-top... cos it seemed to be a bit bigger than a muffin

Krys & Cherished - good on you guys for staying focussed and posting in here. You'll get there... and you'll be laughing away thinking I shouldn't have let that gain get to me so much. (easy with 20:20: hindsight huh!). I actually reckon I'm more likely to go down the week after an up. But I know how frustrating it is to be see-sawing around the same weight for weeks on end (I did that the last month).

Ammaki - congrats to you too, that's fab.

~Jayne~ - welcome and GL with WW online, i reckon it's great.

g'day to all the others I've missed... we've got a good active bunch here today.

I've got my sis staying atm (just till tomorrow lunch) so I'm finding it harder than usual to stay focussed. Did my walk and pilates yseterday. Tossing up between cycle & Wii Fit today - can't really go walking cos I've got tradies here. And visitors this arvo... washing... kitchen... hmm maybe i"ll just boogie as I do it all and get my exercise that way?

SAS & KRYSALYSS _ WOOOT WOOO on your weight losses! That is just briliant!!!

BELFIE _ Loving your cake top, I affectionately refer to mine as the 'verandah' as it seems to shade my nether regions! TTC'ing sounds exciting!! YAY!

TIME4MYSELF _ Fantastic effort on the jogging! That is something I am soooooo looking forward to doing. I have a treadmill that I jog on when everybody is asleep, but can't wait to be able to feel confident enough to jog outdoors!

JULIE _ They say each 1kg is a tub of butter! So just keep picturing that my friend! Good job! Now you just need to crack the triple digits & you're cruising!!!

CHERISHED _ I can't wait to be in the 6's!!! Feels like a lifetime away though!

AMMAKI _ You suck losing weight after a holiday blowout! But fantastic work all the same! hehehe

NAI _ Have a great time on holidays!

Ok, I am going to be walking down to school to get Jess today, usually we ride but I had an Ortho appointment today so I didn't have time, but my youngest Claudia is needing a sleep, so I'll put her in the pram & walk to school & back. Jess will probably rant the whole way home about walking but I'll tell her Mummy needs to get skinny! hahah

I am going to be the proud owner of a Chocolate & White Border Collie baby next week, we have been waiting for this pup for over 6 months now, after being on the breeders list, waiting for the ***** to come into season, etc... but anyway, Banjo is going to be 8 weeks on Friday & therefore joining us next week. He is my ticket to being skinny as BC's needs tonnes of exercise (so every tom, **** & harry keeps telling me while rolling eyes). So that is going to be extra incentive for me to get out & about, to exercise a growing pup.

Also, on the puppy front, I am planning on putting Banjo into agility training & time trial thingy's, but more for me, rather than him as I will have to fly around the course with him, what do you think??

I'm having a super eating day today, but of course it's still a novelty for me right now. But I am going out to a friends for dinner & I don't know what she is making so I have just had a yoghurt & apple for lunch so I can save my points. Nobody else knows I'm doing this, & she is skinny & gorgeous so I don't want to tell her! LOL.

    Ok, enough for me!

    Love Jayne xx

Ammaki - I would be sooooooooooooo scared of your dogs.

DH has the good walking pram with him Darnit - When Miss E wakes up I might have to wrap her up and go for a walk with her strapped on me . . that can really only help at this point extra weight and balance required - it will be like being pregnant with one of those world-record breaking babies +! (Did you guys HEAR about that woman with the 15lb baby!!)

Having a much better day today. With my special K breakfast and my ali baba lamb loin wrap for lunch the day is looking really good. Add three hours of walking around a shopping centre and it looks even better. Just hoping I don't completely blow it with dinner - but I'm planning lamb chops (got some very lean lamb leg chops today) with ratatouille so there'll be lots of vegies... it's one of the recipes from the CSIRO book.

Sorry, brain is fried - my three hours of walking around a shopping centre involved Sam and I both being covered in poo and the purchase of new, clean clothing for us both... it's been exhausting and I've still got to tackle the washing, but I really just want to ignore it for a bit and enjoy the brief period of time while Sam's happily playing by himself to be resting free of puke, poo, dribble, wee and all the other revolting stuff Sam seems to take great joy in spreading all over me!

    Hello girls

Sas I got really excited for you reading your post and your date sounds perfect I heard about the gigantic baby OMG!!!!

belfie I can just see you boogie'n around your house kicking up a storm while mopping the floor, maybe you can use the mop as a microphone and sing along to the music too hehehhe

time4myself You've inspired me to start jogging too, even if it's only for 5 mins after my 30min walk

Jules that's a great loss honey!! fluid really is a trap but at least you have a good judge with your wedding ring... When I am retaining fluid I cut back on salt and I soak a teaspoon of fennel seeds in warm water than strain it into my Sigg Water bottle, if I drink that every day my fluid is right down by my next weigh in.

Jayne enjoy your puppy, I would love a kitten but will be waitng untill we have kids and they are a couple of years old, so I'll be waiting at least 5 years I think!

Ammaki I'm glad the point system is working for you

BW sounds like you've had a big day! enjoy your dinner

Krys "go get'm honey" If anyone can do it you can!!

AFM I have been naughty, naughty, naughty!!! eating cho bullets today no excuses but that I am NAUGHTY!

Ammaki - I would be sooooooooooooo scared of your dogs.

nooo they are harmless hehe, just confronting seeing a huge dog come running towards you, but once they get there theyll lick you to death hehe. And the staffy just has 'happy snorts' its so cute haha he just grunts and snorts around when he's happy, although i had to chuckle at DSD on the weekend, when she woke up she told me she "had to close the window coz the puppies were snoring" haha

    ooo Cherished!! NAUGHTY!!

Sounds fun BW, poo filled day hehe! atleast you got some new clothes out of it? How did DS manage to get you and himself covered haha? Food sounds great too!! I have Special K for brekky...couldnt get over how small the actual serves are supposed to be tho!

Ive gone mental on weighing everything to make sure i record the correct amount of food lol

He filled his nappy while I was in woolworths, and the wiggling while I headed for the checkouts smooshed it out one side... I couldn't keep hands or feet out of the nappy while I was changing him, but the problem was I hadn't noticed the feet, and he was happily kicking me in the stomach! I ended up with a $15 mens hoodie - nothing exciting, but it was the first thing I could tolerate wearing with my red jeans.

Re: special K - the serving sizes are utterly ridiculous! I have found, though, that it's the best protein source in breakfast cereals, which is the main thing I have to do - cut the carbs and increase the protein without getting too overboard on the fats. If anyone's got a better suggestion for breakfast, I'd love to hear it. Last time I did eggs (poached or scrambled), but I find I just don't have time for it in the mornings with Sam around now.

BW - I do scrambled eggs for me and DH a fair bit (and DD now too), but baked beans are also an awesome source of protein, they have some carbs but they're real good for you. You could also keep some celebrity slim shake's in the pantry they have good balance of protein, vitamins etc- you don't have to do it full-on, but they're a great brekky if you're short on time and yummy too.
I hear ya on the poo. DD's started doing one big one in the morning and it is sooo gross and even if I have a liner in I STILL end up getting it on my hand because there's SO MUCH! Ech! Haven't got it on my clothes in public before though - ah the joys of motherhood.

BW _ Far out, Sam really dropped you in it today hey? Oh well, in a few months from now you'll be looking so fab you'll be spoiled for choice (not that I thought you looked anything less than fab in April!).

AMMAKI _ the dogs sound awesome, my IL's have a staffy & her name is Breeze. She is such a stocky little girl! Our uncle used to have a Rotti & he was a very gentle boy. I bet they both give you a workout when you're walking that is great!

True to my word, I walked to & from collecting Jessica from school, I was a bit early so I did a lap of the entire school block (her school is Kindy - Year 12 so it's quite big), until it was time for her to come out. So I have earned myself 3 bonus points! Yay me!

I also had lasagne for dinner as well as 2 glasses of wine so I just came in with my points, I think I had 1 left over, so I was so glad for the yoghurt & apple for lunch!

Off to work tomorrow, this is the challenge, my boss has two HUGE lolly & chocolate jars!

Thanks, Jayne. If I were still the same size I was in April, I'd be pretty happy. Clothes I wore then no longer fit me. Be strong today, resist temptation!

I was a very good girl yesterday - did so well with my carbs that I was even able to have a marshmallow in my hot chocolate (low fat, or course) last night. I will admit that the only way I can manage hot chocolate is because I drink it at about 1/3 the reccomended strength! Think I also managed to swing some extra weight loss with an attack of diarrhea last night too. Not a good way to do it, though! Can't figure out whether it's something I'm eating or a return of IBS.

Still haven't found the scales... But I have noticed that my underwear fits better. I've been continuing to mainly wear my bonds maternity undies as they still fit me better, but yesterday I managed to get an old pair of pre-Sam undies out of the drawer without noticing - and they didn't cut into my hips like they normally do! I do believe we are having some success already regardless of having a set of bathroom scales give me a number or not!

Sas, Sam still won't eat scrambled eggs. He's still insisting on either baby food from a jar for breakfast or toast with vegemite. I'm starting to feel like we'll never get him eating the same food as the rest of us.

    Question Weight Watchers

    Morning everyone

All this talk about points and weight watchers got me looking at their website this morning I'm thinking of joining online and maybe going to meetings if they change the day in my area because I work on the day they currently hold them. I have a question though... How many points are you allowed each day and when you sign up they ask if you are pregnant... do they have a pregnnacy programe and can you still do it when you are pregnant, do they just allow you more points or something?

butterfly I am vego so I add whey powder to heaps of things to add protein...

Belfie I noticed you will have a special birthday in the house in the next 2 weeks I hope you enjoy it with little Xander

Cherished im on 25 points a day, i think they ask if you are pregnant when you sign up, i guess if things change you just change your settings? Not sure if they increase your points, id say they would tho!

Woohoo for the prebaby undies BW

Great walk Jayne! I did 45 minutes on the treadmil last night I love our dogs! And yes they give us the best workout when we walk them, the rotty more so then the staffy! The staffy gets to the end of the street and then has had enough!! Lol

mmm Scrambled Eggs sas...got my tummy grumbling. TIme for brekkie!!

AFM down in weight again this morning, i finally feel like im getting somewhere and doing something right!! 45 mins on the treadmill last night, netball tonight Making sweet chilli & hoisin pork stir fry for dinner which is low fat and not many points woohoo!

    Have a great day lovelies

Cherished - i just had a peek at my points on WW online.. apart from the fact I accidentally took 4 points off my daily allowance (EEP! I added that back in a hurry!) there didn't seem to be anything for pregnancy - it just asks if breastfeeding or not. Might be worth calling 'em to ask. And thanks for the very observant birthday wishes for X - very exciting .

BW - I'm with you on the food thing with X - he won't eat ANY finger food or anything solid (projectile vomits)... eat food with us, yeah as if! We're off to the speechy in a few weeks.

~Jayne~ - oooh that's so exciting re your BC! I love puppies too - we've got a belgian shepherd and she has soooo much energy (and for anyone who hasn't seen one, she's like a fluffy black wolfie - so a bit scary lol).

I'm managing to stay active even tho my sis is visiting (she's skinny but not active IYKWIM) but while I haven't managed a cycle, I'm doing walks still. She goes home today then mum & dad visiting next week (but not staying) so should be able to keep up the exercise. Have been too scared to try work clothes, but I've only got 2.5 weeks till I start back... better bite the bullet soon & see what fits.
