Hey guys!
How is everyone going with their weight loss? I have been slack since DF got back and we haven't been walking everyday or making the best food choices. I haven't gained anything but haven't lost anything either for about a month. Time to get serious starting tomorrow! (Yes I did just finish eating a bowl of icecream )
I have 8kg left to go to goal weight and my engagement party is in 2 months so I'm betting that I will come pretty damn close to getting there, especially now that I fit into my old sports bra  so will be able to start running now. Although I'm pretty impressed that I've come this far with walking being my only exercise.
Mr Squidipa - Congratulations on your loss! What have you been doing since you were offline for a while? I remember you were going backwards for a little while there but you seem to be motoring along now :)
Teagz - Great loss! If you can keep that up you'll reach your goal in no time
Zee - Bummer! I hope that you can get your health problems sorted out soon, I know how frustrating it is to be held back by a health issue that you can't control. At least you can take this time to focus on your diet and portion sizes, ect. to get your eating into check.
Hi to Telly, Jas, Beckoes, JBM and ZF!

getting there a bit hard but sticking to it

Hi all,
Good job everyone! Sounds like you are all doing well keeping on track even if its been a bit hard!
Not sure when I last posted so my total to date is 24.9kg woohoo I'm a daily weigher so here's hoping tomorrow morn I will be over that 25kg mark! I have exactly 10kgs to go to goal so very exciting!!

Hello my cheering squad, hehe
Yes.. I've been MIA for a while :hide: I kind of went a bit wild for a bit, haha. But am totally back on track now! Still stoked tho, although I wasn't dieting, I managed to maintain my loss and not put on. Finally getting married on the 5th of November, so i'd like to lose another 10kg before then, totally doable. Weighed in this morning at 76.6 :p
Hope you're all well xxoo

Hi guys. Am back here now. Have done a fair bit of moving around and have lost some motivation and put on some weight. Have started counting calories again (CK) and just a bit of casual exercise (except soccer on Friday nights). Trying to get into a rhythm but seems harder this time.
Anyway - now that I have no more excuses I better start trying harder! Will try and drop in every so
often. Take care!
-
krysalyss - i find it extremely hard to get back into it.. Its like once your off the bandwagon.. getting back on is one hell of an effort.
Ahh! Why can't we all just be naturally slim?! ;)

Hi Everyone!
I too am finding the last home stretch to be the hardest bit. It's almost like I'm happy with myself how I am so I'm not as motivated to lose the last bit of weight.
I bought my dress for our engagement party yesterday and it looks awesome, if I may say so myself :) It's stretchy material so will still fit well when I lose at least 5kg before the party.
JBM - I love the enthusiasm and positive thinking. Have you been sticking with your walking?
Mr Squidipa - It is really motivating for me to see your ticker going down. I have created a weight loss ticker for my own records to track and graph my journey, maybe one day I'll have the courage to change my ticker on BB to my weight loss one.
Jas - Did you hit the 25kg mark? Congratulations on your loss so far, you have done it so quickly too!
Krys - I think I am going to have to go back to counting kj's again as well and definitely increasing my exercise
Telly - Are you still doing WW? You can so lose the 10kg before the wedding! I have faith in you :) When are you going to go shopping for a dress?
Come on guys, I think we need to share some healthy snack ideas or something to keep the thread from stagnating. I'll be back with some of my ideas later today

it is very hard to get back on track again but you just got to do it for your own good niwm

Hi guys! Well I am happy as I lost 1.5kg this week - now at 69kg. Nice start to put me back on track. I had a very full on game last night at soccer. Can feel bruises all over my body. But I can tell my fitness has dropped quite a bit so that should motivate me to pick up some my exercise during the week.
Mr S - You have lost so much weight! You must be feeling great :)
FuzzyWuzzy - congrats on your engagement. Sounds like you are really close to goal. And the dress sounds awesome!
Telly - I so agree. I think I have been getting a bit bored with trying to lose weight and also we were living with my parents for a while who always have stacks of junk food in the house - impossible for me to resist. You can so lose that last 10 kg! - even hiding under a chair ;)
JBM - how are those walks going? It must be a nice way to start the day :)
Jas - That weight loss is awesome! Did you get your 25kg?
-
well done on your weight loss that is great yes i am feeling ALOT better at least i can breath easier got a way to go get but i will just keep plodding along and i will soon get there

Hi everyone!
Since I finally have the internet again I thought i'd jump in! Whenever I was seperated from my (now) ex I always lost heaps of weight, he's a terrible influence lol. So now that we've actually broken up (as opposed to being in a relationship but in different states) I'm feeling very confident that my healthy lifestyle is going to stick. I've lost 4kgs in the last few weeks, and am feeling great.
I bought a cheap crosstrainer as I find it very hard to exercise enough to lose weight with two under three. This way I can exercise whenever I get the chance, and it's going really well. I've just started using freeweights as well. I don't really have a goal in mind as I've not been at a healthy weight in a long time. For my height (5'5) I'm meant to be between 57 and 67kgs (I think) but I actually don't think i'll ever get there. I weighed 70kgs when I was 14 and wore a size 10 so who knows. I am *cringe* 107kgs right now (I always GAIN weight after I give birth lol) and am hoping to get down to at least 80. Hopefully I'll reach 90kgs by the new year which I feel is realistic since I actually lose weight quite easily. :D

Neenie - welcome! Sounds like you have a good plan worked out. Good luck with the weight loss!
Mr S - Woo hoo! Noce loss :)
AFM I had a 1kg loss this week so am very happy with that. I actually expected to gain as I was pretty bad with eating at the start of the week and also increased my exercise (from almost nothing) and usually put on some weight when I do that. I have a bit of a groin injury at the moment from soccer. It has been a twinge for the last few weeks. Bit annoying today after last nights game so I might see a physio this week.
Anyway - good luck for the week guys!
