I like their philosophy of not-dieting. It's how I try to view what I am doing. For me, personally, I'm not so confident about eating what you like if you feel like it. That's pretty much how I got into this mess :lol:
I'm not a binger at all, but for years and years I was very anti diet and did not care about my weight (taking a stand against the weightloss industry and the notion that slim=beautiful, spurned on by a partner that preferred voluptuousness). Then, as I aged, weight went beyond a cosmetic issue (health issues started) and by eating what I wanted, I became morbidly obese.
I truly believe that some people cannot tolerate anything beyond a very low level of carbs. Anyone with IR, PCOS, endo, diabetes, other inflammatory issues, etc.
That said, I think you need to eat to lose weight. Starving yourself does not work at all!!!
