Yup, you continue doing whatever it is you've been doing prior to becoming pg. The only time I want you to tone it down or back off a bit is if you were to start feeling dizzy, ill or anything out of the ordinary. They've removed any peak heart rate a pg lady should remain under years ago - so don't worry about tracking that or setting alarms on a heart rate monitor.
Continue with the ab work and laying on your back until the 16 wk mark when unless your GP / OB / pg carer advises you otherwise - 16wks is the general cut off for laying on your back whilst pg.
You won't cause bubs any brain damage or injury - never seen a report that has even remotely pin pointed or tried to blame exercise for anything bad that happens to bubs in utero - only good things
