I'll be doing the at home exercises. You can do indoor or outdoor. I'm hoping to grab one of her DVD's but I also have EA ACtive which I will use and other wii games (just dance etc).
I'll also do some walking/jogging/running. I do strength training classes once a week and currently PT once a week which I will change to twice along with netball/or tennis once a week.I don't go to gyms because they are a 2 hour round trip from my house. lol
As for shopping, I'm excited to mainly shop at fruit and veg markets etc. I'm excited about only having to duck to a supermarket for a few non food essentials (and a few food ones). I've got so much junk in my cupboards... the cleaning task is going to be very interesting....
I don't mind if the food costs me a little more if it means that I am much healthier in the long run :)

I've just signed up today. :)

I'm just on the page now, and wondering if the $200 just covers the 'pre season' or the whole thing? How long does the pre season last? Am I asking silly questions??
I'm in two minds and need a push in the right direction LOL
-
$200 is for the whole 12weeks plus preseason. The Round1 starts mid September so I think there must be 4weeks before it officially kicks of.
-
kay, i'm doing it!!! Bank balance, please forgive me!!! (I know it'll be WORTH IT!)
(I've signed up as Longy)
Okay, let's do it!!!!
-
I just went and found you krystals and welcomed you
-
Great to see some people in there!! Jes Co.. I've seen that name a few times already. hehe
I'm NickyJam. :)
-
Thanks girls! I'm all impatient now, waiting :P
How are you all feeling? Psyched up? I'm just hoping I stick with it!
-
Excited and scared. But I keep trying to find all the positive stories (and I'm finding HEAPS), I've got the crunchtime book and I've started reading it along with the cookbook, and just popping on the forum on and off to see what others are talking about. I feel better knowing there are people who are in my situation. Who need to lose massive numbers. I think that alone is going to be a huge motivator :)
-
I reckon after this round, YOU are going to be one of those motivators!!!! Here with you all the way!!!
-
I really really hope so!! I already have plans of becoming a PT should I get to my goal weight. :) I want to be able to help others in my situation, but I have to focus on me first.
-
Niadalla that sounds like such a great plan with becoming a PT later. Make sure you take lots of pictures as you go. Definately concentrate on yourself for now. I myself would much prefer a PT that knew the struggles of weight loss to one that had never struggled with their size. Will go find you and say hello.
Krystals I am totally pumped but also worried that this feeling will not last the duration of preseason let alone the next 12weeks following. I've already started exercising as much as I can and reduced my calories. I don't know if I am going to hard to soon and if I should ease off alittle during the preseason so I'm not burnt out before I actually start. I've been reading alot about people joining and not been able to stick to it and I don't want to be like that. Realistically I can get to my goal weight this round. I only have 8-9kilos to go until I am at goal. I'm thrilled about that but I also don't want to use my current achievements (I've lost just over 10kilos in 3.5months) as a reason to slacken off.
-
Mildez I know the too hard, too fast syndrome very well. My aim is to make UP TO two changes a week of the pre season. This week for me is to limit my bread intake, and to exercise at least 30mins each day. If I didn't already drink heaps of water, that probably would have been my 'food' goal. I'm hoping to have kicked my bread reliance by the start :). (Difficult, as I'm the one who makes the bread, and fresh, hot bread with a BIG dollop of butter is sooooooo delicious LOL). This week, the exercise is going to be walking every day (with bubs in the backpack) with 3 days of hubby's 'boot camp'. You'll get there Mildez, make the changes, and the numbers will follow hun :) 10kilos in 3.5 months is a phenomenal effort!!!!!!!

Just stepped in to add that a friend has loaned me a copy of Crunchtime! The recipes look great, I hope I can stick with the prep time, but I'm sure I'll get used to it all :) Our shopping list seems a bit longer than usual, I'm hoping it'll all be worth it!!! I'm sure it will balance out :) Going shopping this arvo and hooking into week one of the pre season- Don't see why I shouldn't start RIGHT NOW!
-
Where would I find this?
I just brought two of her books: "Crunch Time lose weight fast and keep it off" and "Crunch time cookbook".
I've started reading "Crunch Time lose weight fast" and going through the steps - but am totally stuck at the moment with the list she's instructing you to write down *sigh*
-
Just popping in to see how everyone is going. I'm ding really well! The food was always going to be the hardest part for me, but I've been really very good with it these last 8 days. I'm drinking heaps of water too!
I need to up my exercise. I'm just cruising into it... we've got 3 weeks until the program starts proper so if I can add a day a week in there I'll be fine.
Rislani, just google 12 week body transformation and the website should come up.
Hope you're all going well :)
