Hi Annie,
Best of luck on the program. I have found if I stay on program that its really easy but if I find myself cheating or in a situation where theres no choice, its harder to get back and stay back.

good luck!! its really easy once you get it all together and work it all out! when your in the shop it seems like so much to take in.
but like rayray said once you fall off the wagon its hard to satrt back.. i have found this over christmas and new year!
but its great diet and the girls at my weightloss centre are really supportive!
some places charge you for steamed vegies as they are an opitional extra and thats really annoying!!

They remind me of cinnamon donuts ... YUM !! *** :confetti:
Yeh, those TF chocies r not like ya Cadburys but hey, it's super 2 kno u can still av a chocie even if it is their brand as such.
I started treated myself about 3mths ago 2 a dark choc wafer bar of TF whenever I got weighed in & had lost more then a kilo in 7 to about 10days. Very rewarding !!!
Good luck ladies :goodluck:
I havent tried the wafers. Might see how I go when I weigh in tomorrow morning at TF and try one if I have been good.
How many wafers can you have? Do you know what they replace?
i saw them the other day!! i wondering what they were like!! wow now i will buy one!
rayray how is the cookbook going???
I think that ill have to stay away from the "treats" until i have lost a couple of kilos!
oh annie you just cut out a piece of fruit to have the chocolate!!
I think the hardest thing for me will be no COKE!!! I am totally addicted to the stuff.. and decaf coffee??? hmm
I made eggplant dip from the cookbook, was really nice I added some more spices to it.
Havent done much else from it yet, its hard ona weeknight I dont get home from work til 6 and DH and DS need to eat early. I dont think I'm going to get a free weekend to cook until Feb :( DH cracks it if I cook after dinner, not sure why?
i dont mind the caff free coke!! but giving up regular coffee was hard!! im sitting here now drinking decaf coffee and was thinking im missing my caff hit from hit!! LOL!!
oh that sounds nice rayray!!! love a good dip..
ok, so today is offically DAY 1 -
I looked at my bag of goodies from the chemist and decided that the chocolate shake would be my breakfast of choice for today.. Ok to drink, tasted yummy, only problem was that DD wanted some.. she loves milklshakes.. ! so i made her a milo..
my fav is the banana shake and i like the strawberries and cream!
oh you can join the diet and weightloss support group as well!! a few of us TF girls are in there and we have weekly weight ins!! its good to keep you on track!!
Hi Girls
I have been doing TF since Jan 1, well started again then and have lost 5kgs so far Im stoked! but it sreally only got me back to where I was in November -very big off the rails when my Dad was sick in hospital and I was away from ho,e living on take away food from hospital! So I am back on it for good now - have a lot to loose so hope the rate stays steady! I haven't really been doing that much exercise apart from running after 10mth old and DH!! I try to do an hour walk each day but doesn't always happen! Looking at going to the pool for laps when school holidays are over.
I have started mixing the shakes and jelly together just for a change in the afternoon and its not too bad. Has any one made the cookies?
What the go with the cookbook - good or bad? Worthgetting or not?
Really glad I have found you all here - looking forward to supporting you all thru it!
Natty
I had the banana shake today for breakie.. not a fan!
We went to Farmers markets this morning and bought lots of lovely organic veges ! Such big mushrooms..Yummo!
Hi ladies
DH and I have decided to start on TF on Sunday. DH has wanted to try it for ages, but we were worried about the cost, but when we actually worked it out, it won't really cost us much more than we spend on food now, as we won't be buying expensive take aways and other junk. I am looking forward to it, but I am expecting to find it hard at first not having any carbs - I am a big carb person. Bread, pasta, potato....Also not having coffee. But both DH and I are motivated to lose some kgs, and I am really glad that we have found a weight loss program we can do together. I can't wait to go get our goodies tomorrow!
A hint would be to try to cut coffee out right now if you can or switch to decaff.
The initial detox period will be much much easier on you if you do. :)
I think I will do that - usually I only have the one coffee a day, first thing in the morning. Its a habit, as much as a 'wake up' thing. But I will skip it for the next two mornings to prepare myself. And I have just bought a big jar of nescafe too! Maybe I should give it to my SIL so it doesn't go to waste...
Well i had my 1st weight in!!! i lost 2.4KILOS!!!...
and i think i lost the weight from my back under my bra..not a big bulge there anymore! Yipee!!!...
Go Bon - the programme is GREAT !! i have switched to decaf coffee and no probs here.. getting a bit sick of celery thou!
congrats annie!!! great stuff!!
yay thats great annie, congrats!
I too have to have coffee hit in am but just have Espresso or Cafe latte shake - its too easy!!!
I love the Banana one with a real banana in it and blitzed - its great just like a smoothie!
N
well today is officially day 2 - and I am feeling good! So far I have tried the espresso shake, pina colada and chocolate - all yummy. Am going to try mango for lunch. I haven't missed having coffee at all! The lady at the chemist said because I only have 1 cup a day, I can still have it if I want because it won't affect the diet too much, but so far I haven't felt like it. I am going to buy the cookbook next week, DH wants me to make the shepherd's pie with cauliflower instead of potato that his friend told him about. Today I have a beef casserole with heaps of vegies in the slow cooker for dinner and I have made vegie soup for lunch. So far so good!
hey bon, let me know how the casserole comes out & the recipe! I need to use my slowcooker!
I like the taste of the notatoes that are in the shepherds pie. I've not made the pie though, just the notatoes.
basically I just put in some steak - the right amount for me and DH plus a little bit extra for the kids, then I chucked in some vegies - today it was an onion, 2 sticks of celery, some green beans, some cabbage, some frozen broccoli and cauli, a tomato and also a tin of chopped tomatoes, then I added a cup of beef stock and a little bit of worcestishire sauce and salt/pepper. Should turn out ok, I hope.
i was on tf before i got preg and i plan to breast feed once bubs is due so i dont see myself going back to tf anytime in the near future. my prob is i have about 30 or so packets of shakes i think they are all choc. if anyone is interested in payin like $2 a shake or somethign liek that just pm me.
Hey SASSY123,
.... Plenty of people on the website eBay buy the TF shakes !! I'm guessing also cause some live in remote areas & can't get to a TF clinic !!
I sold my 5pkts of soups there for about a total price of $15.00 (plus postage costs) !!
Just an idea
I am not Choc shake fan so no thanks Sassy - my TF clinic will buy them back if you don't like stuff but that might of been when I wa trying it out - flavour wise!!
N
My TF clinic told me when I joined last Winter that they use to allow swapping the flavour if you didn't like them ... BUT NOW they (and ALL TF clinics) STRICTLY DO NOT DUE TO HEALTH REGULATIONS ... Which I reckon is fair enough, I would hate to be buying my shakes from them not knowing where they have they been.
Not every1's home is clean. Would rather know I'm getting the freshest satchets too !!
ok i have the TF simply fibre if any of you want it!! i have used it twice and it is suppose to last 30 days..
i didnt like the taste at all!! i like the stuff thats tasteless!!
so anyone want it PM me and i will send it to you!
I like the benefiber as well. I could sometimes cope with just one teaspoon of the SF in chocolate chakes (only in chocolate chakes) but its just so coarse.
How are you going? I didint get to my weigh in on Saturday - well I got ther but DS was asleep and I didn't want to wake him and had no one to stay with him so I had to go home again and make do with my home scales. According to them I had a 3kg loss over the preceeding fortnight.
going ok.. hit a wall where i fell off the wagon was so hard to get back to it after xmas!! but back into it again!! havent weighed myself this week and refused to last week!! LOL!! 3 kgs it great!! once you get into it you can get quite addicted!!
the simply fibre is not my taste at all but i hope some BB girl wants it cause its not cheap and would hate to see it go to waste!!
I'm back on TF!!! Now Elijah is all weaned, I am good to go.
Tis my second day, what I am doing is 2 x shakes per day and Lite n Easy most nights. Cooking other nights but I realised a huge weakness for me was takeaway when I was too busy and tired - so I have Lite n Easy in the freezer which I can just whack in the oven, rather than resorting to the many delicious restaurants around here!!!
Having just gotten back from holidays I have more weight on, despite all the walking and sweating I did (don't get it!) but I will try and stick to this as best I can.
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: Hot Chocolate Shake
Morning Tea: 1 x sugar free apple flavour lolly
Lunch: Cold choc shake
Afternoon Tea: 1 x sugar free apple flavour lolly
Dinner: Creamy Country Chicken Lite n Easy
Have had no bad effects like last time YAY! Have had my morning hot chock shake already and about to have an apple lolly, gets rid of my sugar cravings just with the flavour.
Hoping to lose 10kgs!!! :) Gotta drink more water, must try harder.
Can i jump in here too??!
I was reading this thread a few days ago and it (you ladies!) made me choose to join up!
So, i started TF on Friday and im loving it!
Ive known for a while now that i needed to diet but kept telling myself that it wasnt as bad as i thought and kept buying new clothes (BAD mistake!) When i joined up and the lady was doing all my measurements etc. i really couldnt believe how big id gotten! What a wake up and shock to the system that was! When i got home and started reading the little book they give you i noticed something that nearly made me fall off the coutch, my BMI indicated OBESITY!! As i said, i knew id put on but i really didnt (mabey want to) acknowledge HOW MUCH!!
Anyway, im glad to join and am looking forward to shedding all these tractor tyres!
welcome shell!!!
i was the same when i was first weighed i didnt realise how big i had gotten!! it was a massive shock to the scales and i was embarressed i had let myself get like this.. plus the girl who had weighed me was skinny!! but she was very supportive!
i hope you get the results you are after.. i am almost half way to mine 8kgs so far!!
Thanks maddysmummy, i have about 17kgs to loose!! (Wow how the hell did that creep on me!?)
Your doing really good with your weight loss, everyone in here is, thats why i thought i'd give it a go - just hope it works for me!
When i go in next week i think i'll buy their cook book for ideas!
I lost 3kgs on Friday (not bad for one week!), now scared to weigh myself as it was my mum's birthday this weekend and I splurged - but back on it Monday again. *sigh* better go weigh myself to see the damage done...
WooHoo that's a fantastic loss for one week Kelly.....Well Done
 I've lost 2.5kg in my first week!!
Im so happy with myself! :D
great work ladies!!!
tony is coming to my local weightloss centre!! on the 6th march.. not that i will be going!
OK .... I'm in :D Day 1 - today.
I joined up with Tony Ferguson yesterday .... my weight was 97.3kgs :wall:
I actually had my gym re-assessment yesterday, and over the last 3 months I've lost 1.2 kgs (not very much, but still a loss), my cardiovascular fitness has improved from average to above-average and my chest/arm strength has improved. But I really wanted to kick-start my weight loss again, so I thought I'd give TF a try.
I'm actually scared. I lay in bed last night feeling really scared of starting this today ... scared that I'll be hungry, scared of feeling sick in the first few days (I'm prone to migraines anyway, so I'm sure I'm going to feel like absolute crap within a few hours), scared of feeling ravenous, scared of what I'm going to do when I can't comfort eat. It's weird - I've never felt fear before when starting a diet, but I literally felt terrified last night. I'm feeling not too bad this morning, but still apprehensive.
Anyway, I've just finished my first shake - french vanilla. It was quite nice. DH is jealous that I get to start my morning with a milkshake, but he started his with bacon, eggs and coffee, so he can't complain really!
I just have to figure out what I'm going to do about the fibre. I think I've got some psyllium somewhere in the cupboard, and some metamucil fibrecaps, so that will probably be OK for the first few days.
Wish me luck!
