Hi Girls
I have been doing TF since Jan 1, well started again then and have lost 5kgs so far Im stoked! but it sreally only got me back to where I was in November -very big off the rails when my Dad was sick in hospital and I was away from ho,e living on take away food from hospital! So I am back on it for good now - have a lot to loose so hope the rate stays steady! I haven't really been doing that much exercise apart from running after 10mth old and DH!! I try to do an hour walk each day but doesn't always happen! Looking at going to the pool for laps when school holidays are over.
I have started mixing the shakes and jelly together just for a change in the afternoon and its not too bad. Has any one made the cookies?
What the go with the cookbook - good or bad? Worthgetting or not?
Really glad I have found you all here - looking forward to supporting you all thru it!

Hi ladies
DH and I have decided to start on TF on Sunday. DH has wanted to try it for ages, but we were worried about the cost, but when we actually worked it out, it won't really cost us much more than we spend on food now, as we won't be buying expensive take aways and other junk. I am looking forward to it, but I am expecting to find it hard at first not having any carbs - I am a big carb person. Bread, pasta, potato....Also not having coffee. But both DH and I are motivated to lose some kgs, and I am really glad that we have found a weight loss program we can do together. I can't wait to go get our goodies tomorrow!
-
A hint would be to try to cut coffee out right now if you can or switch to decaff.
The initial detox period will be much much easier on you if you do. :)
-
I think I will do that - usually I only have the one coffee a day, first thing in the morning. Its a habit, as much as a 'wake up' thing. But I will skip it for the next two mornings to prepare myself. And I have just bought a big jar of nescafe too! Maybe I should give it to my SIL so it doesn't go to waste...
-
Well i had my 1st weight in!!! i lost 2.4KILOS!!!...
and i think i lost the weight from my back under my bra..not a big bulge there anymore! Yipee!!!...
Go Bon - the programme is GREAT !! i have switched to decaf coffee and no probs here.. getting a bit sick of celery thou!

well today is officially day 2 - and I am feeling good! So far I have tried the espresso shake, pina colada and chocolate - all yummy. Am going to try mango for lunch. I haven't missed having coffee at all! The lady at the chemist said because I only have 1 cup a day, I can still have it if I want because it won't affect the diet too much, but so far I haven't felt like it. I am going to buy the cookbook next week, DH wants me to make the shepherd's pie with cauliflower instead of potato that his friend told him about. Today I have a beef casserole with heaps of vegies in the slow cooker for dinner and I have made vegie soup for lunch. So far so good!
-
hey bon, let me know how the casserole comes out & the recipe! I need to use my slowcooker!
I like the taste of the notatoes that are in the shepherds pie. I've not made the pie though, just the notatoes.
-
basically I just put in some steak - the right amount for me and DH plus a little bit extra for the kids, then I chucked in some vegies - today it was an onion, 2 sticks of celery, some green beans, some cabbage, some frozen broccoli and cauli, a tomato and also a tin of chopped tomatoes, then I added a cup of beef stock and a little bit of worcestishire sauce and salt/pepper. Should turn out ok, I hope.

Hey SASSY123,
.... Plenty of people on the website eBay buy the TF shakes !! I'm guessing also cause some live in remote areas & can't get to a TF clinic !!
I sold my 5pkts of soups there for about a total price of $15.00 (plus postage costs) !!
Just an idea
-
I am not Choc shake fan so no thanks Sassy - my TF clinic will buy them back if you don't like stuff but that might of been when I wa trying it out - flavour wise!!

My TF clinic told me when I joined last Winter that they use to allow swapping the flavour if you didn't like them ... BUT NOW they (and ALL TF clinics) STRICTLY DO NOT DUE TO HEALTH REGULATIONS ... Which I reckon is fair enough, I would hate to be buying my shakes from them not knowing where they have they been.
Not every1's home is clean. Would rather know I'm getting the freshest satchets too !!
