nope! I'm the complete opposite, I LOVE an unmaid bed, The only time it is 'made' is when I put new sheets on it, and then DH and I stand there unmaking it before we go to bed that night. we like it untucked and all over the place =)
you should hear the *****ing and moaning from DH when we stay in a hotel about how tight they make it and how hard it is for him to mess it up!
Yep I do. Dishes have to be done too, then the day can just roll on.
It's certainly not a perfect job, no tucking, just sheet thrown out over the bed in general and quilt over that with pillows put back in place. I only tuck if the sheets are fresh or we are having people over (just realised how stupid that is because they don't check my sheets are tucked in lol prob cause it looks neater if our door is open!)
DD helps me make her bed every morning now too which is cute.
I make it before I get in it. I don't like the feeling of bunchy sheets and I like the blankets to be evenly spread

Yes, I make my bed and DS2's bed every day. DS1 won't make his and it bugs me.
A world of no. I move around a lot in my sleep, and making the bed is a complete and utter waste of time at my place ... I like the sheets to be changed every week, but that's the only time the bed gets made ... I might straighten the doona up a bit if we have people coming over, and the bed might get seen ...
But my benches - they have to be spotless. Spotless, I say. They are a mottled graphite sort of look, blacks and greys and white, and they have to be cleaned a few times a day for me to be satisfied that they're really and truly clean.
Yep all beds have to be made. Dishes away. Towels neat. No clothes on the floor. Floor swept or vac. Cushions and throw rugs on couch neat and tidy. Kitchen bench spotless.
See I don't see the point in having a nice bedroom set if you're not going to make it. I always make the bed- in fact today and yesterday are the only two times in 10 years I've gone to work and it hasn't been made. That's because I've been sweating it up with this bug I've got and the sheets have been damp.:
If you don't make the bed, for me, I don't see where you draw the line, do you bother to put the dishes away, clothes in hamper, etc, because to me that's all part of having a clean house.
Nope - because DP is always still in it when I am getting ready for work! If I didn't have to get everyone (including myself) off to work, school, childcare etc I might have time and have a care factor. But it's the least of my worries in the morning really and at night I can't see the point. I might do it on the weekend.. sometimes.
Yes, I do our bed & DD helps with her bed. I love getting into a clean sheeted bed etc.... I love how crisp it is.
I make our every day because it's at the front f the house and you can see it from the road and front door, DD1 makes hers and DD2 is in the process of trying/learning!!
Ausgirl - You'd hate my house then :lol: We don't do any of those things on a regular basis. We're trying harder with this new house, so they get done more than they used to, but I've never been a houseworky kind of person :dunno: It annoys me that DH made me believe he was, though :p We don't really have a bed set either, just whatever doona sheet is clean, whatever sheet is clean, etc.
When people are over I don't tend to want them in my bedroom anyway, so the door gets closed. Even if it's spotless, no-one would see it by accident.

No... the onlt time it gets masde is my once a week room cleaning days...

I never used to, but it was one of those things that I kept meaning to do. This year I have made DD do hers each morning as one of her jobs so I figure I should do ours as well. DD is very good at it, it's the only morning job I don't have to nag over and I've been very good too - I think it has helped that DH is out of the house early this year so I can do it without a body in there.
Some days yes some days no. Though if the beds are made, the house seems tidier/cleaner to me. And also easier to tidy/clean for some reason! It kind of makes the mess seem less daunting!

Yes I do! I got myself into the habit of making it as soon as I get up in the morning or else I found I never got around to it. And our bedroom is at the front of the house and can be seen from the front door.
DD makes hers after breakfast and DS does his best lol! He has a day nap still but we don't bother re-making it after that unless we know people are coming over.
Yep I have to! Otherwise I feel unorganised!
