I think my hating a made bed and having to have it as messy as possible stems from work... as everyone knows a good nurse her perfectly made beds ;) and I do do a mean hospital corner!! just not anywhere near my house!

We have a doona, but have a top sheet as well. It just feels better to me and it's much easier to wash a top sheet than try and extract the doona, wash doona cover and then try and get the doona back inside.
