Home cleaner recommendation Eastern Suburbs (Victoria)
Hi Mumma's
With a very spirited and high energy toddler on my hands whom I only get a 1hour break per day from, I can no longer get the house to my level of cleanliness.
We have already gone through 2 different cleaning agencies that were disappointing (the last cleaner broke 2 vases and left a permanent stain on my carpet ) So I would prefer to hire an private individual, rather than go through another agency (unless the cleaner you have is phenomenal in which case I could personally request them).
I am happy to pay a higher fee for a cleaner who is very thorough - the job they do is more important than the price they charge. I have no idea how often/long they would need to come, but I am open to them coming as often as 2hours per week.
If anyone has someone they think is fab and would recommend, please PM/reply with their details and some brief info. We live in the Balwyn North area.

Just tried the third agency today, by far the worst.
After rocking up 30mins late I open the door to a young boy (was told I was booked in with a woman). After 2hours when I went to check I almost felt like saying, 'are you serious?' I didn't even need to see whether he did the smaller details as the main things - like wiping a kitchen bench - weren't done, the toast crumbs from brekky were still there. Needless to say my house looks exactly like it did 2hours before and after paying $70 I feel like I have been conned.
I also emailed three people from gumtree and no response. I'm starting to think I should hire a babysitter so I can clean myself, but I would rather spend that time playing with and enjoying my child.
Thanks Boo Boo, but I understand if I'm too out of the way - I already rang the company, because honestly, not even bothering to wipe kitchen/bathroom benches is really poor work, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first time he ever cleaned in his life, it was that bad. Needless to say, the person in charge of that department was busy and I was told I'd get a call back - I;m still waiting...in the meantime I will be doing the cleaning that was meant to be done - no weekend off for me
I'd pay double right now just to have someone decent come in and catch me up
