    Question iron cleaner

    my iron tends to get really black very quickly... not sure why
    so my question is what iron cleaner do you use?
    does anyone know any natural/mix your own type remedies?

    A friend of mine swears by 2 pieces of baking paper with course rock salt in between and rub iron along that until clean (turned on and hot)

    I dont iron much so haven't done it.
