Oven cleaner?

Ok, i've done my groceries but forgot to get oven cleaner coz that oven is dirty! Is there something I might have at home that I could use? Thanks!

If you want to clean the racks, I soak them in Nappisan overnight, it gets all the baked on stuff off. You could try making a solution and spraying it on your oven, but I haven't tried it so don't know if it would work

I soaked the oven racks in washing powder over night and the grease just falls off!

The oven itself, I just used a curly steel wool thingy and dishwashing liquid. I just treated it like an oven dish haha. I didn't scrub too hard, and i used a much gentler scourer to do the glass at the front. But otherwise, the oven came up pretty shmick, all without oven cleaner! I vowed never to use oven cleaner again when I burnt my arm with it

I think I wet mine first with soapy water to try and 'soak' it a bit.. but was just thinking.. maybe stick hot wet paper towels onto it to soak it? I might try that next time. Might help lift it a bit before wiping it out.

The enjo method is to have a bowl of boiling hot water in the oven and keep topping it up every half hour so you kind of steam the oven to loosen the grease, then you just wipe out with the enjo glove. A friend of mine did it and said it worked well. But I don't usually have that block of time to clean it haha.. so I just used more elbow grease
