is it lemon/citrus that spiders dont like??
i just found a whitetail spider in my clothes folded in my wardrobe its the third one in a week we've had. i want to use something other than spray and i thought i heard or read that they dont like lemon, i have some essence what do i do now??
Might need to try that aswell we get LOTS this time of year especially with the paddocks so dry etc, last night DD woke with a temp at 4:30, turned on her lamp and a big gross hairy thing was staring down at me from the ceiling.
Had no choice but to use spray as didn't want it sitting in there with me or when DD was alone in bed... ewwwww.
Roughly every 3 months I put a few drops of lemon oil on my broom and sweep the ceilings, walls, window & door frames, fly screens, screen doors etc and I find that I get a huge reduction in the number of spiders inside the house. I still get a few, but not as many. Also, the house smells lovely afterwards.
Remembered this thread and it's going to come in handy, found a white tail IN DD2'S BASSINET this morning, right beside her arm, i YANKED her out so damn quick then had no choice but to spray the creepy little bugger.
Hmm do safeway sell lemon oil, i know they will have citronella... i'm on a mission!
