What Domestic duties have you achieved today? #3

So far all I have done is some shopping.
To Do -
-fold and put away washing
-wash up
-vacuum lounge
-sweep & mop kitchen
-clean bathroom

Hi all,

I have read these posts in the last few weeks months with much curiosity, in fact i will admitt that i thought some were out of their mind going 'off to shine my sink'... but after a bit more reading and finally googling FLYlady, i am happy to report that i shined my sink last Saturday and havent looked back!!!
I am still taking baby steps and missing some days as i am working incrediably long hours atm and feeling a bit exhausted with the pg etc etc -
BUT my kitchen has remaind clean the entire week and i have felt so proud of myself!
I am glad that i found out what you were all talking about :)

Have done absolutely NOTHING so far today except for a bit of running around with DH before he went to work. I have to do last night's dishes, a quick wipe-over in the bathroom AND sweep again.

That will be it for me today cleaning wise.

I did to a bit more yesterday, I pulled up the rug in the loungeroom, put it on the line (DH beat it) & then swept and mopped the floors in the loungeroom (I do love polished wood floors!)

Well after having been pretty lazy lately and doing only what had to be done when it was begging me to do it, I have finally gotten off my bum and cleaned the place properly :)

I have:
Swished and swiped x2
Shined my sink after packing away dishes and washing more
Cleaned benchtops in kitchen
Cleaned wall tiles in kitchen
Swept
Cleaned mirrors
Folded and packed away 3 loads of washing
Prepared dinner
Dusted
Changed DD's bed
Cleaned DD's room

I am yet to vacuume and mop, but I will wait til DH goes to work tonight to do that, some how he always manages to stuff it up!

Way to go ladies!

Yesterday I washed, dried and folded 4 loads of washing, have another load in the dryer at the mo and the lux in boiling water to wash the baby stuff in about a half hour.

To do today...

Change bed linen (ours + DS)
Vacuum / sweep
Clean ensuite

But I bought myself a cute pink toolbelt to put my cleaning stuff into, so its all with me.

Absolutely none. My doctor has ordered me to rest and do absolutely no housework or lifting until Tuesday. Technically I shouldn't be on the computer either.

Today ...

Change bed linen (didn't get around to it yesterday) - check
Do several loads of washing - check
Fold washing - half-way done
Tiday PIp's room (arghhhh)

Ok, so I have managed to miss the entire last thread for this topic - shows how much my cleaning went out the window over the past month or so! I was so dedicated getting on the computer every morning to write what I had done and needed to do!!

So, I'm back on the bandwagon!

Tomorrow's going to be a pretty easy one for me, just to get back in the habit, and because the house is nice and clean as we did it before DD's christening yesterday.

- make bed
- swish and swipe
- wash clothes Done
- bring in nappies off line and fold Done
- hang out clothes Done
- go to work for Melbourne Cup lunch!
- make dinner- beef stroganoff
- wash dishes and shine sink

This morning I did 3 loads of washing before DH got up, swept the bathroom, emptied the kitty litter & left the tray in the sun, changed the towels, half-swept the back section of the house. Then we were slack and sat down and watched "Pursuit of Happyness", then we went to our investment property and I swept the floors (only the bedrooms are carpeted), then I vacuumed the WHOLE place, then I cleaned the oven, then got down on my hands'n'knees and started scrubbing the floor in the kitchen. While I was doing this, DH was putting up 6 curtain rails and curtains.

Then I got home here, ignored the dishes in the sink and took the toilet apart to clean it - as in I took the toilet seat off and soaked it in bleach, scrubbed the toilet, then put it all back together.

Tomorrow I need to do the dishes and give the place a quick sweep and dust, do the last load of dishes, then we're off to a world record attempt at the "world's largest raindance".

Today I ... swept,vacuumed, mopped the house (both floors), did 4 loads of washing, folded 2 of them (the others are still drying).
changed the bed linen in the guest room and scrubbed their bathroom (sink, shower cubical, toilet) and mopped that floor too.
Cleaned the oven, cleaned the inside of 3 banks of windows & 2 french doors.
Scrubbed the wildbird feeder.

Still to do :
Cat litter
Sweep the stairs
Clean the ****atiel cage
Clean my bathroom.

- Clean vanity basin - NOT DONE
- Unpack suitcase - DONE

So far THIS morning I've:

sorted the dirty clothes
put a load of clothes into the machine

I've sorted the clothes so DH can do a few loads today (he's not working & he has a few errands to run for me).

Tonight I want to finish clearing the "hot spot" kitchen bench.

- Do poo patrol - DONE

That's enough for one day, I think.

kitchen hotspot is still a hotspot - but the unit is 100% completed (pending DH taking the supports down for 2 bits we put on the ceiling with liquid nails last night).

He's off doing Elton John for the next week and a half - as in he's building the stage, doing all the rigging, which will give me a 8 days (he's home for weekends - he leaves on Sunday) to get this place sorted out! So be prepared to see a lot of lists on here!

Well today I need to do alot, since I've been sooo lazy...
