not sure what kind of feedback to leave seller? advice please!
I'm a little peeved off at this seller!
I won a lamp for $27 on the Wednesday 31st of march, a big, heavy old brass (or brass looking) type. 2 days later I made contact with the seller and asked when would be ok to pick it up and she informed me that she was on holidays with her family until Thursday and to call her then to arrange a time. I was fine with that and yesterday called and arranged with her to pick it up this afternoon.
So I just logged into my email then to grab the sellers address and there is another email from her sent this morning saying 'Sorry the lamp is no longer here. The shed was cleaned out awhile ago and the lamp was mistakenly taken away by my elderly grandfather. Very sorry for the news and hope you are not too disappointed.'
her story is a little odd....strange that the lamp could get lost between her listing it and today...Do you reckon she was hoping to get more for it? Or maybe she didn't know it was antique the grandfather pointed out it after I had won and now she is lying so not to sell it?
Either way I'm not impressed, I find it hard to believe it's an honest mistake as she has 880 feedbacks which in my mind makes her a seasoned ebayer who should know how it all works
....should I leave neutral or neg feedback and any tips as to what should I write??
I was going to pay cash on delivery, so no money has exchanged hands. I'm just annoyed about the principle of the whole thing....luckily I checked my email before I left to pick it up.
It wasn't an item I was desperate for, just PO'd I've been stuffed around!
Contact Ebay about it, it is in the seller terms about false advertising. Then absolutley poor feedback it, Item not as described - Because it doesn't exist!!
Yep get onto ebay - she cant refuse to hand over an item (which is what she is doing - the reason is irrelevant) It was advertised, auctioned and sold, and subsequently discussed and payment arrangements made.
And hell yeah I would leave the most scathing feedback I could muster. Sounds like a load of BS to me.
