What to do? ~ eBay Product

I have just recieved something I bought off eBay and i am quite dissatisfied with it

The listing gave detailed sizing, and I made sure to meausure before ordering and it is way, way too small even though I ordered on the smaller end of one size rather than the upper end of the other.

The quality is quite awful, but TBH I expected that with the price I paid, I'm just annoyed that it doesn't fit. So do I now leave negative feedback or do I email the seller? I have never had to leave negative feedback before - and I don't want any on me!

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Did the seller have a refund policy? I think I would email them first, to see what they are willing to do for you before leaving negative feedback... but its up to you darl - how was the rest of their service?
Hope you can get it sorted soon

Good policy is always email the seller first....let them know and see if they can help you out.

no seller can leave neg feedback anyhow...stinking eBay rules..

if a buyer left our eBay store a neg before contacting us id be fuming.

Thanks for the advice, have emailed seller.

What is a good timeframe to wait for a return reply? All other contact has been within a few hours and the item was recieved with two working days. They were great to communicate with, it's such a pity the product is not as it should be.

We allow 48 hours to reply, then email again and say 'not sure if you got our email....etc'

    Question

    Hey Ash,

How did you go with your eBay item ??

... Did you hear back from the Seller ... & was it resolved in some way ??

I have purchased on & off on eBay since being pregnant with my daughter (who's now 2) ... & I must admit I had the very rare occasion of something turning up in the mail in pretty bad condition.

Never forget my worst a musical soft fabric toy that could be hung ... recieved it filthy, stinking of smoke & covered in animal hairs, ... OMG it freaked me out to think they knew it was to go into my newborns nursery.

Unfortunately not all Sellers will offer refund & as you now know it's the risk you take in purchasing as sadly not all people are honest in their selling description.

I just took it on the chin, felt sick for a bit about the wasted money & just learnt from it.

BUT like I said it's rarely happened for me ... so I consider that a good thing

Cheers from Lorelle ( ... and hope for your sake it turned out to be resolved in some way !!)

    Hi Lorelle!

I go a quick response from the seller she just asked me to post it back and will refund when she received it. I was very happy with that especially as the parcel was posted with stamps that had not been post marked - so no postage cost either. . I'm a bit sketchy with eBay now after buying some atrocious nappies from there
