Info on becoming a Family Day Care Provider?

As the title says, I am considering becoming a Family Day Care provider. What can you tell me about working as a FDC educator with FDCA? What sort of changes have you had to make to your home? Are you enjoying it? Insurance costs etc?
I've been on the website and there is not alot of info. Will be attending an info night later in the week too
