Has your DS always stuttered? I have a good friend who is a paediatric speech pathologist and when my DS started to stutter at around age 3 she told me that it is very normal for a child to stutter when they have an explosion in their language and vocabulary skills, which often happens around that age. My DS's stutter lasted about 6 months and self resolved.
