Do you have a bucket list?

DH is approaching the big four oh and tells me he feels like he hasn't done enough with his life, that there are things on his "list" that he hasn't crossed off. Not a bucket list but a "before I'm 40 list".

Then he asked me what's on mine. I told him I didn't really have one.

So tell me, do you have one? If so, what's on it? If you care to share that is! Any sort of list of long-term things to do, be it before you shuffle off this mortal coil, before a milestone or whatever!

Nah not at all. If I do something I've never done before then I will say "well that is crossed off my bucket list" even though there wasn't one to begin with LOL. For example seeing my first 3D movie the other week.

I suppose my wish list is called a bucket list...

Go to Africa..have been dreaming of doing this since I was 18yrs old.
Back to Mauritius for our 20yr Anniversary (that's only 4yrs away)
Go to Vietnam..we had this booked, paid and the day before we were due to leave my Dad passed away. I was 3mths pregnant so we just never got around to actually doing this.
    Hot Air Balloon
I have alot of restaurants on my wish/bucket list, we are working through those.
Newly added is to get a professional photo shoot with my Mum.
We want to do a sea or tree change at some stage in our lives.

No, I don't have one either! I can't think of any real things that I feel like I just MUST do!

    Nope, nothing for me!

I don't feel any great desire to go overseas - dunno why, but it probably has something to do with anxiety about planes LOL

Probably eventually going back to work - that seems far enough away to score a mention on a Bucket List!

Start with this one. Start small

I really want to visit jellyfish lake.
    Where JF? Palau?

20 years?? Wow, impressive! And I relly hope you get to Vietnam... That must have been tough.

    Yeah that'd do it!!

I'm glad I'm not alone. DH was all "there must be SOMETHING you want to do?"

Africa, for DH (and I want to climb Kilimanjaro).

Bungee jumping for me. Probably in New Zealand.

Finish a novel- writing, not reading. I've started so many. I'd like to finish one (and maybe even get it published!).

Hmmm...I first thought I didn't have a bucket list but there are a few things I want to do.

Go in a hot air balloon.

Take the boys around Australia for an extended trip, months long.

Stand at the nothernmost tip of the country, could possibly be done on the big trip.

Go to uni and actually graduate lol.

My husband turned 40 last year and he would have an extensive bucket list! He's always saying 'won't get to blah blah blah' and I say 'you've still got the rest of your life ahead of you!'

I have one. It's basically at some point cruise around South Africa (I have then officially cruised the world) and have three children before I'm thirty - this list was made when I was in my early 20s and told to DH. Well, still time for the round-the-world cruise... something else it turns out DH isn't keen on.

There's a few things I'd like to do, but I'm not fussed if I never ever end up beloved by millions. Stupid millions is all I say. That's their problem, not mine.

Maybe I should write a bucket list for others and put "adore The Flying Butter" on there, photocopy it millions of times... oh wait. Age of the Internet and all that. Maybe I should just blog "you all have to love me!" and succeed in that one.

Perhaps you could start with this?

Oh nutter, now it sounds like I'm going to die on the 30th of June 2014. Although good call on calling my minions just that: DH gets all funny and says it's oppression or something when I do it.

Maybe I'll fancy another username change by that date? Haven't had one for aaaaaages, although this one does rock. Have to start thinking now.

Oh that's not when you're going to die, darling. That's just when your benevolence ends.

I've got one but it changes often. There was a thread about it a while ago, was fun reading through everyone's wants.

I guess I sort of do. It's more like a wish list though and mostly it's just places I want to visit.

I have some that are long term, "I've gotta get around to that one day" like a helicopter ride and hot air balloon ride and going to fiji. And short term ones that are nearby, like I want to go to Napa valley and Disneyland.

i don't really have a list as such, just two things i really *want* to do.

First is to go back to South Africa and see all my family there. We came to Aus when i was 3.5yrs old so i don't really remember much and with the advent of Facebook it's reminded me what a huge family I do have and how much i miss them.

my other *want* is to get a tattoo! not sure where or what but it will incorporate my two girls' names and dates of birth
