    I'm a newbie, introducing myself. (pcos+depression)

    Hey there BB members.

Well i've been checking out this site for nearly 6months, and have been a member since March09. I don't know why, but for some reason it took me this long to pluck up the courage to intro myself, tell my story and ask for advice.
My tale starts 6yrs ago when was diagnosed with PCOS. I missed AF for 2yrs, had several Negative HPTs and gained 40KGS!! in 12mths. My GP at the time had no answers for me. After 3yrs, many tests, and no diagnosis i decided to get a 2nd opinion. With a new GP, i was diagnosed with PCOS in just a few days. I was in NZ at the time and my GP had no info, or any advice for me about it except to lose weight!!. After researching on the net about it, the information that i got(which i didn't quite understand) didn't really alarm me at first. I thought that everything would be ok as i wasn't looking to get PG anytime soon. Well.... I'm now 25 and my DP & I have been ttc for 2yrs now. I am now seeing a gyn, and have been on Metformin for 6months, have takin Primolut N to assist with periods for the last 2mths and am taking Clomid to help with ovulation. I'm still trying to figure out how to chart my cycles, or when exactly ovulation is suppose to take place. Its so much to take in... and at times i feel so lost. I guess it doesn't help that i also have major depression. I know this is a long story, i feel that this is just a release for me...
Anyway.. this is where i currently am at. Today would be CD28 & i finished taking Primolut N(3x a day for 5days) on CD25. I am now just waiting for AF to pay me a visit so i can commence CLOMID. I am actually hoping& praying , that it doesn't come. Which may mean good news?. Fingers crossed aye.
Well if anyone out there is in a similar boat as me, please drop me a line. Esp anyone experienced with taking Primolut N, i would love to hear how its effects have been on you.

Gotto end my novel now. lol.
I would like to wish everyone goodluck in there journey!!

    thanks

Thanks for the welcome.. for a moment there i thought i had the wrond thread.
Unfortunately yes, my AF did come and go... but i now have 'mucus' where there was not any. Not too sure if this is normal. Its been a long long while since i've had any. I've completed my 2nd cycle of Clomid and am just waiting to do the progesteron blood test to see if there is any ovulation.. Fingers crossed.

    AGAIN THANX FOR THE WELCOME!

fingers crossed for u. That day my OB told me i did ovulate, it was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Clomid was my saviour, i believe.
