    Dr thinks I have endo

Hi, I've never posted on here before, I actually never even knew this site existed until last week when I googled 'endo support' and found you guys!

I'm 31yrs old, had my first laparoscopy when I was 16yrs and they found a grapefruit size ovarian cyst on my right ovary. Since then I have been on pretty much a continuous pill to stop the ovulating and the cysts forming. I've had 5 ops to remove cysts from mainly my right ovary. My last op was 5yrs ago and the gyno took a cyst off my right, one off my left, found out the my right tube was blocked and did a partial bowl discection due to leigions and scar tissue. That was in 2003.

In 2004 my dh and I started ttc, I went off the pill and did blood tracking for ovulation fo 7mts before we fell with my ds who is 3 next month.

We've now been trying to conceive for 14mts with a mc in the middle and nothing was happening, I've been getting pain pretty much since I went off the pill but it's been getting heaps worse. I've had ultrasounds (on the tummy and internal) and they've shown follicles on my left that my gyno thinks are the beginnings of endo. He's referred me to an endo specialist, I have an appt with Dr Brett (in Perth) in 2weeks to book in for another lap.

How soon after you have your initial appt do they book the lap?

If you've read this far thanks so much! It was such a relief to find this site with so much info and support for fertility probs!

sorry to hear that endo may be creeping on your horizon. it is a bit ouchie!

My dr booked us in for the following week for the lap. so not a long wait at all! It's usually a day thing so i guess the waiting time is not so bad...

Thanks for that. I'm kind of hoping it's about a month before I have the lap. In the 3 weekends following the initial appt I have my ds 3rd birthday, my bf hens night, then her wedding where I'm bridesmaid!!!!

Thanks for that, I'm looking into some alternatives and have a recommendation from a friend of someone who does herbal meds. Just trying to get through the next week until my endo specialist appt.

    Waiting sucks!
