    endo

    after 7 years i have been diagnosed with endometriosis. i have had a mirena implanted which has really cut down the pain. Has anyone else had any experience with the mirena? also i am finding sex quite painful and wondered if anyone had some helpful hints.

    I can't help with the Mirena, but sex for me too was painful so much so I would end up in tears afterwards. But the pain was alot better for me after my lapraoscopies.

    thanks for that. I saw my specialist today and he think it may have something to do with my cycle.

    oh yeah, when my endo comes back sex can be extremely painful and it can also hurt around ovulation for me too, always helpful when ttc
