PCOS Clomid and Metformin question regarding Cervical Mucus & No Cramping
I'm on my 3rd round of clomid (over 1 year due to my husbands work travcel committments), 1st 50mg Clomid CD5-9 BFN, 2nd 100mg Clomid CD5-9 BFN, now 500mg Metformin EX & 150mg Clomid 2-6, today is CD 8.
From what I remember from my previous 2 cycles I had a lot of cramping before I ovulated, this cycle I have no cramping at all, could that mean that no follicles are growing and I won't ovulate?
I also believe what let me down the 2nd cycle was hostile cervical mucus, I wasn't educated about the importance of it when I did that cycle so I started taking Robitussin (Guarfesin) and grapefruit juice today & I'm drinking 1.5 - 2 litres of water a day plus green tea & I still don't notice any cervical mucus.
I bought Pre-Seed, if I don't get any cervical mucus by the time I ovulate, is Pre-Seed just as good or a substitute or do I still need cervical mucus? I think it's too late now to start evening primrose oil.
Wow that is strange but excellent u get EQCM on clomid!
I thought pre-seed was a substitute then I read an article that said that it's not a substitute. Well, can only try my best & see. If I get another BFN I think I'm going to give up & go to IVF.
My main concern is the lack of cramping, with my last cycles I had loads of cramping, mind you they were lower doses, now I'm on metformin, higher dose clomid & no cramping at all, I hope I'm growing follicles.
