    A Hairy Question...

Thanks to PCOS, I get a nice little black beard and moustache every couple of weeks - I wanted to know, does anyone else get it? Don't answer if you don't want to, but how bad does it get? My lil moustache can get quite noticeable, and i get black hairs UNDER my chin like a proper beard too! The worst thing is, they seem to grow overnight - one day there's nothing, the next day I look like an old italian man!!

Also, do your partners notice? My DH used to tell me when he noticed, but I'm just too sensitive when he tells me, so he's given up!!

Isn't it horrible. I get the same thing. Ever since being off the pill to TTC back in 2006 I have had this problem . Thank god for waxing. DH has never said anything though. Must be scared he might get a chunk taken out of him lol

I used to wax, but it just hurt so much and was red for a week afterwards - now I'm in love with Nair

yep. i almost registered for Movember... thanks a lot PCOS!!! but mine is all white fluff (side burns too) but with an occasional rogue black one under the chin. and more noticeable since becoming pg.

I wax at home... have never tried nair cos i have pretty sensitive skin. Bit worried about having a reaction like i have had from some lipsticks and eyeliners.

Girls, if it is any consolation, I never had PCOS and since falling pg with Olivia over 5 years ago, I got the hairy chinny chin chin too. And it has got worse through each pregnancy and is still really bad now. The downy hair I can cope with, but I also get "old lady chin *****les". Nightmare.

Nair works for me, and I also do pluck the spiky ones.........
