I am going in for my 5th operation in about six weeks time, for my endo and cysts.
I am 29 years old. Married. And have been trying for a child for over 4 years.
We have been told that this is our last chance. The surgeon is going to have a good look around, but has already said that he is 99% sure that we will not be able to conceive naturally.
To top it all off, my health has been really bad over the last couple of months. The pain from my endo has been unbearable at times, and I couldn't leave the house because of it for over three weeks. I was constantly being sick, bleeding etc.
I found this site by accident, but really needed to let t all off my chest.
As you all know, it's such a debilitating illness - and one that many do not understand...my family and friends included!
Well, that's it!
Would be great to hear back from you!
It sounds like you have been through so much. I do not have endo but have PCOS and when we were trying for our first I found bellybelly a huge help. It is a network of people who know what you are going through & are there to answer any questions you might have. It is also a great way to make new friends who understand what you are feeling. The whole TTC journey can be very tough at times but we are here for you if you need us.
Good luck with your next op & your TTC journey - I hope your BFP is not too far away.
Welcome Fluffy. I read your story and really feel for you with all you have been through. Alicat is right that BB is a great place to talk to others who can support you. There are lots of different forums I'd urge you to check out, and there are heaps of articles to read as well.
Good luck with your next op and I hope it brings you closer to that BFP!
