Not sure if this is in the right section.

I'm after any advice on taking metformin while BFing. My doctor says I will have to give up BFing to go on it, but I've read a fair bit on the net saying it's okay...was wondering if anyone has done this?

I was on Metformin for 6 months when I conceived my last baby and found it great to help my PCOS.

I have had two scans since I've had him confirming that the PCOS is actually worse than it was before I was pregnant and I need to go back on it.

Hope someone can give me some advice. I don't want to give up BFing yet.
