i get a pulling pain and sharp sudden pains in lower abdomen which my surgeon has advised could be adhesion pain from my laparotomy last year. i find massage helps a bit and i take vitamin e tablets to help with scar tissue.
My pain is like a pulling feeling, sharp almost similar to the siatic nerve pain you get down the back of your legs but instead in my belly...its effecting my whole daily life...would one form that quick after surgery? (3 weeks)
what did you have done? id be surprised if adhesions were causing you pain 3 weeks after surgery. Did you have adhesions removed in your lap? it could all be pain from healing, it takes time and it is dependant on what was done and where.
If it is causing you that much pain on a daily basis you should go back to your dr.
I had a lap dont to burn off endometriosis, a D&C, Hysocopy or sumthing and also i had an uplift uterine suspension as well...The doc said i shouldnt be in this pain still either and is doing scans etc now but nothing is comingup on the scans....he mentioned adhesions but im also thinking its nerve damage as i also have numbness on that side too....im very frustrated
