Question Product Recommendation - Skincare / Shampoo etc

    Hi,

I am after some recommendations on skin care and shampoo/conditioner which has had all the nasties taken out! I have tried a few brands.. only to get home and realise they are not as good as they made out (a lot more careful now when making the purchase) so it is starting to add up and I have a cupboard full I stuff I prob wont use.

I went to a great organic skin care workshop on he weekend, it was full of lots of info on chemicals in the cosmetics industry and also greenwashing.. but the main focus was really Miessence products.

I like Misessence, but there is something about the smell of the products that I dont like.. cant quite put my finger on it. I would also prefer something a little less costly (is this possible??)

So ladies, what do you use and swear by???

i also have natures organics all in one for kids (had a superman on the front I think) but haven't seen it since - my kids find it really hurts their eyes when they get it in there though but they do have fairly sensitive eyes. I use the normal range of shampoos myself and don't find them too bad - they certainly are the cheapest option I've seen for such type of products.

i know some who swear by envirocare which I think you get in health food stores it does a shampoo/bodywash and dishwasher products and soap powder at a minimum - not at the supermarket and they certainly don't find it as costly as say the Akin (sp??) range. I have only seen the bulk size though so don't know whether its available in smaller quantities

I have also used Natures Instinct but notice not every product in the range is as "friendly" as others and thus might not suit you

Thanks guys, I have looked into the Natures Organics range, including the shampoo and kids 3in1 and have decided to give them a miss as they still contain a few ingredients I would rather avoid.

    Anyone else??

I really like the Akin products.. I have found them great for both myself and my bub. And they smell divine which is a bonus!
