The best things about BOYS...
* they are always mummy's boy
* always ready for a cuddle
* you can always buy more trucks and car as they dont take up much room but how many dolls does one girl need!!!!
The best thing about GIRLS....
* You will never get pee on your face in the middle of the night at change time !!!!
* Girls are Daddy's girls
* you can dress them up and play with their hair...
*You know when the are older they will want you around when they are mummy's
There are so many great things about each sex I personally found my BOY a bit easier than the girls as he picked up TT and walking much quicker than MY girls but have herd this isnt always the case.... Enjoy what ever you have as it will be yours so you will be like every other parent out there and think your child is the cutest and cleverest child alive LOL
Great thread Sara!! I'm looking forward to everyone's posts!!
I too am just sooo happy to be having a baby it doesn't matter whether it's a girl or boy!! We're finding out at 19weeks scan can't wait!!!! Then we can start dreaming about all these things we'll be able to do with our son/daughter.
I love her willpower - she asks for something, and when i repeat the (sometimes SO out there -like "Want a coffee, Mama"!) request she says "Ok" and toddles off expecting me to follow and comply
I love that when she is scared she repeats what i have told her before "it's okeh baybeegurl, jus' a car horn" rather than running for a hug.
I love that sometimes she DOES run for hugs and i really enjoy them because they're just a bit scarce, you know? Enough to create demand
I love that my DD does not find bodily functions (farting, burping, etc) amusing and uses very nice manners.
I love that my DD is 'Mummy's girl'.
I love that my DD is so affectionate and cuddly, but at the same time totally independent and speaks her mind freely and with ease!
I love knowing that there are so many things I will share with her when she is an adult, so in some ways altho I don't want her to grow up it softens the blow!
