Just need to vent on the awful parents in law I have.
I'm unfortunately sure that this wont be the last vent.
For ppl who are in Thier 60's they act like 3 year olds.
We offered to look after Thier dog but did it at my parents....as I was going to be the one looking after the dog as my dh was heading out.
Anyway, we arrived at Thier house without dd and they were angry we disint bring her, so much that they told us they won't bother going away again and left without saying goodbye. Dd was at my parents as we disnt want her to be in the car for another hour-fair call I think.
Anyway I am really sick of Thier behavior and sick of the fact tht we have to be nice to them yet they can treat us like poo.
How frustrating! If they wanted her to come too they should have at least mentioned it, and they could have dropped the dog off you, seeing you were doi ng them the favour!
That's horrible its fair enough that they wanted to see her but that's not the way to let you know and they should have thanked your for dog sitting. When you talk to them acknowledge that they wanted to see her but it was too long to drive and next time they could come to you instead. Vent away there are a lot of us in similar situations.
