Little bit of backstory: I live next door to my mum, dad, and two younger brothers. As such, I'm over quite a bit. Sometimes I don't even change out of my pyjamas when I come over. I've also lost my key to the main front door, and have been locking the security door instead while making sure the main one doesn't click shut.

About half an hour ago, I decided to go visit Mum, as I do. Since it's a hot day, I also decided to close the main door to keep the inside cool. I figured I usually stay for a while, so Scott can come get me when he comes home from work (he's got the only front door key we can find) at about 11 tonight. I've got my jama pants on, with no bra.

So, I shut the door and go to Mum's, where I encounter two teenage girls on the couch. One I know to be my 19-year-old brother's girlfriend, and the other I'm assuming is just a friend. I asked where my mum is, and their answer made me choke. She's gone away for the weekend Where's my brother? At work for the next two hours. Bah! I explained my predicament, then walked away and made myself some toast... then I heard them whispering. They were wondering what would happen to their plans for the night. "We can't do it here with her here!" one gasped. "my place is too far away and your parents are home! [Brother] said we'd be alone tonight!"

Oh, brother of mine, what exactly have I inturrupted? My mind can't help but jump to the worst (from a big sister point of view at least)... Am I a terrible sister for cackling like this?

They just told me they're gonna go shopping. Yeah right, I bet they've run off to see him at work and tell him I'm here! I should've known Mum would be going away, too, she always does if it's hot on a weekend. I don't even have my other brother to annoy, he's with Mum!

ETA: I'm going to have to stay here til Scott gets home from work. I don't have a car to drive (well, I do, but she's been conking out here and thee - plus those keys are in my house ) and I wouldn't anyway because I'm in my pyjama pants

Tenibear, that is something I would do to my brothers LOL. I bet whatever it was they had planned, that your brother had no idea what it was either. Although I do think it is really weird that she was there with her the friend of her friend in your Mums house while neither she nor your brother was there.
