ok I know siblings have thier fights and so on but I am getting seriously pinged off at my boys..
For those of school ages boys do your sons hit each other in the balls??? Ethan (9) seems to have learnt this from school and now does it at home to his brothers.. He smacked Jacob (3) today in the balls and omg I remained calm but in a VERY deep tone told him exactly what he had done wrong and that he better go to his room.. He then yelled at me so I asked Jacob what he wanted to do.. I said do you want to hit Ethan back or send him to his room..Thankfully he chose room.
Then after that was all sorted. He came out (its been about 2 hours) He was only in his room for about half an hour I think.. Anyways 2 hours later him and Isaac (5) are playing out on the computer and I hear a fight starting and as I get up Isaac starts crying and I mean real hurt crying.. Ethan had bitten him :O yes my 9yr old child had bitten him.. Seriously that the heck is up with that?????
i am so mad.. Isaac also hit Ethan in the balls so they are both in bed at the moment..
I know Ethans issue is that he is exhausted.. against my better judgement we allowed him to go to the school disco last night which didn't end till 9 so Ethan didn't get to bed till 9:30. (he needs his 7pm bed time) At some stage through the night he ended up sleeping on the couch which is where I found him when my day started at 4:30 so I sent him to sleep in my room but he was up at 7.. but still biting!!!! at 9!!
How else do I deal with this? Dh is at work and I don't know how else to deal with it?
he has completly stripped my bed to which is where he is now. I went to check on him before and he was under the cot for goodness sakes.. aaghhh I am going mental
Isac on the other hand is resting so I will go an let him up in a sec.. He is pretty good and usually does as he is told when it comes to discipline (mostly anyways)
Thanks for reading and if you have any advice let me know.. cus I am lost as to why a 9 yr old would resort to biting
ps we have never had a biting issue ever... none of our kids have been biters
