Tell me I'm not the only one

Who gets their children's names mixed up, I do it all the time. This morning I called out for DD4 but her sister's name came out followed by her brother. Hopefully I'm not the only one because I'm starting to think I may need to see someone .

    Regards,
    Dianne

This is me all the time. I have a maria sofia and a leon. They are more likely to be called Ria Fia and I have recently called my son From by mistake.

=) my mum does this ALL the time, she starts at the top and works her way down the list until she hits the name she wants.

My brother has never let her live down that one day she called the dogs name before his in the list. =P

My Dad keeps saying "your son" when he is talking to me about my brother. Keep having to remind him that I don't have a son. LOL

    My Dad does this.
I only have DD at the moment, but I have called DH by the cat's name...

Yup, and both my girls names start with E as well so twice as confusing... I also do it to my sister's kids and she to mine.

I only have one and I still call him the wrong name (usually my sister's damn names starting with the same letter!)

My Nan used to go through all the names of the family before she'd finally get it right

I usually go through all of mine and my siblings names before I get the right one ;P

All the time... my DSD's even get DH's name occasionally... or one of the cats names...

Since my Aunty had her daughter (Gabriel) 13 years ago my nana has always called me Gabby. I have been pretty good so far with my girls names

You'd think it'd be easy for me, for obvious reasons, but... I almost asked DH the other day if he could hear Ianto crying :-/

My nan was notorious for this Five boys, one girl, and a couple of similar names... Occasionally she'd run through all six before hitting the right one

And no-one gets my brother's name right. Everyone starts to call him by our other brother's name before correcting themselves We joke he should just change his name to Ga-Brent

I am forever calling DD by DP's name and vice versa

I'm also one of 4 kids and my mum would get us all mixed up.

My dad would go through all 3 kids and then the cat, and then back to the top of the list "Ka-Mich-Andr-Ritz-KATHERINE!" Sooooo funny.

I have it easy as I've only got two and they're very different. But my mum would do it all the time - I hassle her about calling me by the cat's name occasionally.
