(i put this here cause its family related...i think its the best place)

My grandma is 92 and still lives at home on her own. does everything for herself. The only thing she doesnt do is mow the lawn. And she is still as quick wited as she ever! She recently hurt her ankle tho and despite now needing a special boot and a walker she was assessed as being able to stay home =)
my mum and one of my aunts are currently visiting and helping her with follow up appointments etc.. and now im not working i thought i would come and visit too (and take the oppitunity to visit my late nan who i miss insanely) so im here too.

Basically the point of this is to tell you how awesome and witty my grandma is, even as 92.. we all went out for lunch and as we were driving these 2 young teenage girls were crossing the road. Grandma started going on about them wearing short shorts on a day like this! it was grey and overcast and cold and not to mention the revealing nature if the shorts... You know all the normal stuff old people say about the youth. and then completely unexpected she jusr pipes up and says "well at least they are fat...the plumpness must keep them warm! I almost wet myself i was laughing so hard. just did not expect her to say that.

(i hope this isnt one of those you had to be there things...)

but just wanted to share and hear other peoples funny family stories =)
