Considering changing FS and looking for recommendations
DH and I have been considering changing our Fertility Specialist (FS) over the last few months. Our current FS is great and can't say we have any major gripes after 3 stims (unless my lap in a few weeks reveals I have endo, then I will be furious it wasnt done earlier!). They also say a change is as good as a holiday.
I am looking for recommendations on FS's at Melb IVF. Monash is not really an option for us for travel reasons - another reason for the change.
Please feel free to email me if you prefer (hopefully i have enabled you to email!)
love Dr Mc bain - he has been great for me and responsible for my twins and this pg! Also a friend of mine goes through Kate stern and she is great as well and has had success with her twice as well.
HTH and feel free to contact me if you want more info
We have been seeing Dr Rachael Knight at MIVF - she works out of both Royal Women's Hospital if you don't have PHI as well as out of Epworth Freemason's in East Melbourne. Her rooms are on the ground floor of Freemason's which makes it quite convenient if you need to see her and then see the nurses at MIVF as they are in the same building.
Rachael is lovely - very easy to talk to and a good communicator. We have done one down reg and one flare cycle with her so far and will only be changing because we are moving to Canberra in the next few weeks, otherwise we would have stayed with her.
If you have any other questiosn that I can help with, please let me know.
Cheryl
Hey
I changed FS early on as I wasn't happy, once we did there was no looking back. Best decision we made. You gotta feel comfortable and confident with your FS. Can't help you out with a recommend as we are with Monash.
