I've been trying to get pregnent for a long time now. My husband and I decided to try IVF, and have finally managed to secure funding to fly in for the treatment.Been contacting Queensland Fertility Group-Brisbane, and should attend shortley for treatment.
I was wondering if anyone out there has undergone IVF with QFG - Brisbane, can share with me your experience with clinic and if they allow for more then one embryo transfer (multiple pregnency, one cycle) maybe recomend a Doctor for me.
I used QFG and if you have a look at my ticker you will see that they let me put two embies back in, resulting in my little miracles I personally used Dr Barbara Hall and really liked her. They have many Drs to choose from though. I also found the staff at the clinic lovely and very helpful. I was on fertility treatment for just over a year (only three IVF cycles though) and I went to QFG many times for blood tests etc, then their day surgery facilities and found it all to be great in my personal experience.
I can see you have beautiful twins, congratulation. Just a question, the first you went, did you go straight onto the treatment after having tests, or did have to wait for a while.
I have PCOS and after having tests we went straight onto using clomid. I just had to take some provera to get a period and we were off and running once that arrived.
From your experience what day of my cycle would you think it be the best time to go in. Just concerned because, I have to fly in from outside Australia, and am time concious, becos of expenses involved. Dont wanna go in and be told something like I have to wait for my next cycle.
Cheers and wishing you and family a prosperous new year and success to you, if you have plans for more children.
