Sheyla - I totally understand your desire (believe me, I cannot express how much I understand it) - but have you researched the chances you have of getting pregnant with your own eggs? have these doctors set out the numbers for you?

I ask because you are pushing up against age issues not only for your own eggs but even for donor eggs (although you do have a few more years if you chose to go the donor route) and if having a family with your DH is what you want, you may want to reconsider how you spend the last few years of regular menstruation as well as $.

Sheyla - Just to shed some light on QFG I was beside one woman who was 48y.o having an EPU on Friday last week and the ladies who are in my FS's clinics are definately in their 40s so I would suggest calling another FS thats why I recommended it, maybe the one where you are is just rude and doesn't want to work with ladies of your age? So if you feel like trying someone else I would try Dr Barbara Hall or Scott Salisbury as they are both fantastic and work with women of any age... And even tell the receptionist your age and what you want to do.. Good luck on your journey!
