Bellamy's is the only one my BF'd DS would accept...it has a much nicer taste (and smell) than S-26 or Karicare. It was a real battle to get him to accept a bottle of formula. I didn't start him on it till he was about 8 months and he was both FF'd and BF'd until 12 months...but then still BF'd until 20 months...I couldn't get him off!
BFing did not work out at all with DD so I had her on Bellamy's as well from about 6 weeks because of the success I had with DS. Then we were on holidays when she was about 3 months and ran out...panic! So we bought NAN Pro 1 (not the HA, just the normal one) and it tasted and smelled almost exactly the same as Bellamy's...she took to it with no problems...and started sleeping through the night as well. So we stuck with NAN. My MCHN was very happy with this, because she liked NAN and Heinz and was a bit cautious about Bellamy's because she didn't know much about it.
I would happily use either one again.
Bellamy's is harder to find, generally you can only get it at big supermarkets or online. NAN is everywhere but don't buy it from the supermarket, it is more expensive there than anywhere else, and Big W not much better. Chemists are always cheapest, I find.
