we are transitioning now...Connor is one on friday. He has been having cow's milk in his cereal for a while now and has a cow's milk bottle mid arvo.....his morning and evening feeds are still EBM/fprmula but will be cows milk when my EBM stores end as I have stopped expressing a couple of days ago......

I put all my bubs on cows milk at 12 months...BF and formula feed.
My very early prems it was closer to 12 months corrected.
I just swapped them over when I finished the tin and they handled it well.
Some people like to do half/half formula milk and slowly increase the amount of milk and decrease the formula.
I didn't find it necessary but each bub is different.

I dropped a scoop of formula every week, and made up the difference with cows milk. It usually takes me 4 weeks to swap them completely over to cows milk cos they are usually on 4 scoops of formula at the time

I don't like going straight to cows milk, I found it can upset their belly if done too abruptly - but that might just be my kids

I changed mine over at 12mths to milk. All of them. They all handled it well, the swap to cows milk. No probs at all. It will depend on bub, you may need to play around alittle bit. If your worried why dont you start with cows milk in her cereal, or get her to have a small amount and see how she goes. GL hun. hugs

I changed both of mine straight over to cows milk once they turned 12 months... no issues with either of them.

DD1 was about 13mths, only because I had stocked up on tins, so waited til I used them all.
DD2 18ths and still has it off and on. She does not tolerate full cows milk very well.

As soon as I ran out of formula once Tara was one I put her on cows milk. The first couple of bottles she didn't take it all as I think she wasn't used to the taste but after that no problems at all.

As she was on lactose free formula I transitioned her to lactose free cows milk for about 3 weeks and then swapped her over to normal full cream milk and she has had no problems at all. I also found that when she had her bottle in the evening it seemed to make her sleep longer overnight as it must have filled her up more.

12 months here too. We were on holidays and I ran out of formula in our last night. I had planned to wean DD when we got home so saw no point in buying another tin of formula. She gulped it down without any issues and never had formula again

12 months - as soon as the tin was finished, DD went straight onto cows milk
