Hey Girls,
Snuggly I am soooo green with envy! Which resort are you off to? I actually dreamt about the snow last night. Miss it so bad!(DP and I are huge keen snowboarders) waaaaa:crying:
Cherished-How did your herb jungle turn out??
NaNa- Gotta love tvp spag. Tastes so good, but man it does BAD things to my bowels!
Aliash- Good to see you back. How good are the not burgers?! We had them in salad wraps for dinner on friday. Yummy with soy mayo and avo. I have always been a big spicy food fan, but since BF I had to tone it down so Im weaning myself back onto it slowly...
Last night DP made a pasta salad for dinner. Its Dad night sundays so he has to cook which is nice as Ive become a bit of a kitchen power tripper since being SAHM
Hope everyone is going well... :)

I am making a vegan creamy pumpkin pasta tonight.... just posted the recipe but now can't link for some reason.... darn it I will try again
http://forums.bellybelly.com.au/foru...-pumpkin-pasta
-
Not working Christy! Bother! Can't wait to see it.
Snow was good. Just got in. Flying to Sydney tomorrow for this TV thing, then again for a hens night on the weekend. The carbon guilt is enormous and it aches! (or maybe that's from the skiing?)
Qantas excelled themselves with the vegan meals. Brekkie was cornflakes with soy and the yummiest warm fruit bread, and a banana. Dinner out of CBR was vegie hotpot with rice, bread roll and mandarin. Not bad, really. And the friend we stayed with cooked mountains and mountains of vegan food, and did a great job! Especially one dish, which was a pumpkin pasta, served inside a hollowed out roasted pumpkin. There was heaps of leftover pumpkin, and I ate heaps of it - heavenly!
-
Christy :p I tried to open your link the other day when you posted but if didn't work and it's still down today.. I love new ways to change pumpkin soup so what did you put in it?
SnugBug that's great about your food hon, I've never been to the snow! It's not really on my to do list either (any time soon anyway) I don't think I would like skiing as I dislocate my knees heaps and it just seems far to dangerous for me  I need to stick to non-contact sports, swimming and the gym... I would however love to snuggle in a log cabin in the snow with an open fire eating the most delicious vego stew with freshly made bread :inlove:
So my food has been pretty boring lately! I couldn't even tell you what I've been eating as there's nothing new... I did enjoy my green curry for lunch the other day though..
Hope you are all doing good xo
-
A kid I know - who is three- has turned himself vegetarian! went to the butcher with mum, saw the animals hanging, started asking questions, and now refuses to eat meat! I am so proud. Will have to come up with lots of recipes to give his mum to help her out!
-
YAY how great is that! :p i think kids are getting smarter these days ;) A girl I know saw a butcher draging a lamb across the floor when she was about 12 and didn't eat meat again for for 15 years... she eats meat now though..... Ahhhh who was it that said if abattoirs had glass walls we would all be vegetarian? I think if all children saw what that little 3 year old saw none of them would ever eat meat...
Hope you're all doing well :hello:
-
sorry I've been awol lately, but things have been a bit hectic! Anyways, we're moving to Brisbane in the next month!! So you folkies up there better get started on the recommendations and suppliers of the good, good stuff (like tofu and spices!) for me pleeeeease!! It's been forever since I ate out in Brisbane, let alone shopped for food (other than wholesale stuff) so any advice would be most welcome.
Hope you're all well!
-
Ah, yes, children and vegetarianism. Great topic.
I think children have a genuine interest in, and affinity for, animals. Sadly, some parents and society lie to them about where their meat comes from. Children love their family pets and would not contemplate eating them. I believe that young children would choose not to eat animals if they knew the truth (ie. that an animal had been killed against its will to feed them). As adults, that reality has been suppressed for years or decades and people have become desensitised to that fact.
As I said in a previous post, we read children's books about animals, we teach nursery rhymes about animals, we point out the car window 'look harry, there's a doggy!'. We teach our infants how to make animal noises, and then they are served animals for dinner. Why is there a distinction between a pig or a dog? Why does society find it acceptable to raise one for food (in the horrors of the factory farm) while the other is regarded as '[hu]man's best friend'. While on this topic, did anyone watch a show on ABC1 called 'Nick in the Life'? The presenter, Nick, hung out with pig shooters and kangaroo 'cullers'. Very interesting and upsetting. A kangaroo was shot, and then a joey was discovered in her pouch. In order to kill the joey, the hunter trod on his/her neck. Very sad. Ask your average child what they think of that and I bet they would be horrified.
-
NaNa I haven't really eaten out much in Brissy but my dh loves surf and sea pizza which is somewhere around there... we went ther a couple of months ago and it was great :p
Alisha I totally agree!!! being desensitised is a huge factor in adults being able to block out the reality of what they are eating and where it came from... I think it is the same with violence... Some of the movies out there are horrible and I wonder how long it will take for all those horrible things to be second nature... in many countries around the world it alredy is and it is heart breaking... Back to the food issue, we have some clients who are organic pig farmers... they LOOOOOVE their pigs, it's really funny acutally! Especially the lady, they walk them, feed them great food and treat them like they are children on their free range farm... Then some how they find it ok to kill them and send them off to the butcher?.... It is a debte I have had with myself (in my head) many times and if I was ever going to eat meat or I HAD TO for food I would totally want it to be a case of appreciating the animal, loving it, feeding it and having it part of the family (like my pig farmer clients) and than only killing what I HAD TO eat... Thankfully we do not have to eat meat in these times because I would cry and cry and cry lots more if I had to eat an animal for food :crying: I've read that the aboriginals had the ability to energetically or vibrationaly call animals for food and the animal was happy to donate their life for food for the humans, they would litterally just lay there to be killed because the aboriginals appreciated that they had come to nurish them.... It's an interesting topic isn't it :p
-
NaNa - Yaaaa:leap:aaaaaay! I only know local spots, because we are car-less, so just don't really travel to eat out anymore. Vegsoc has a lot of great recommendations, but here's my list - pretty centralised to places within 6km of my house!
Wild Pepper Pizzeria in Coorparoo and West End (do vegan, also some amazing vegetarian)
Neo Pizza in Highgate Hill (vegetarian only, but awesome)
Phoenix Thai in Coorparoo (best Thai food EVER!)
Kim Thanh Vietnamese/Chinese in West End
Green Papaya Vietnamese in W'gabba
Indian Kitchen in West End (vegetarian, cheap and oh so cheerful)
Kwan Yin Teahouse in the Valley
Asian House in the Valley (Great salt and pepper tofu)
Era Bistro in South Brisbane (ring ahead to advise, they do amazing vegan food with a bit of notice)
Mondo Organics in West End (of course!)
Ginga Japanese at South Bank (controversial choice as some friends don't like it, but DH and I can't go past their tempura vegie curry)
The Forest in West End (mostly for their desserts)
Alibi Room in the Valley for vegan pizzas and an incredible vegan breakfast
My house in W'gabba. For a laugh.
-
Great list SnugBug and HAPPY BIRTHDAY :birthday2: go and enjoy at one of those spots :p
-
Hi guys. Haven't looked in here for a while. :)
I am thinking about trying my hand at sushi as the only vege sushi in Rocky is avocado and while I like it I want some variety! Plus I am on a diet and don't always have the fat allowance left. Anyway can anyone here give me some inspiration?
I know the usual ones (e.g. the seaweed noodle one, mushroom, mock duck, avo salad) but what are some other easy ones I can try?
-
Krys, I love tempura vegetable sushi, but I have never made it at home. I usually make plain avo, and tofu with cucumber and carrot (and s***ake mushrooms if I have them). I also make them with brown rice on occasion too.
I hope you had a great birthday Snuggly!
-
Howdy Krys, I used to love making sushi! Haven't done it in ages though... you can really put anything in there that you fansy besides mixing up the vegies try experimenting with different spiecs/herbs in the rice before you roll it... I think if I was going to make it again I would add whey powder (fore extra protein) and a little tahini in the rice mix to make it a bit thicker too and not so bland iykwim. I've actually planted a purple perilla bush which is like Japanese thing and they use it in sushi, I will have to try that in sushi... Enjoy :D
I can't remember who was asking a while ago about my herb garden I have rudly not replied.. I think it was peach The answer is GREAT, I looove them, they are like my baby or pet  can't wait till they get a bit bigger and established so I can start using them like crazy in the kitchen
-
Greetings Vegie buddies!
Wow its been a while, definately quet in here!
What has everyone been up to/eating??
Krys- I love making sushi at home, so easy and cheap compared to buying out. I usually do one with tofu and cucumber but I dont bother marinating the tofu as I am lazy and once you dip it in soy that does the job. Also a mixed veggie, and DP likes his 'chicken and pickle' so we use the not burger patties. Like cherished said you can pretty much put in anything! Gotta love how BB censors ****ake mushrooms :)
Aliash- That is so horrible about that tv show! Im so glad I didnt see it I would have bawled. I definately want DD to be aware of animal cruelty and food... without scarring her! Its hard though, I mean what is too much? I know I would hate for her to see half the stuff on PETA's website, but its reality...
Cherished- How are you going? Whats been happening? :) Glad to hear your garden is going well.
Snuggly- Happy post Birthday! Hope you had a great day! Have you created any new masterpieces in the kitchen lately??
NaNa- How exciting your moving to Brissie! Or are you here yet?? How is the diet going with your DS??
As for us, Life on the food front has been ok. DD is having more variety so Ive been trying to introduce her to more things like herbs and spices so she will be able to eat meals with us. We have so much chilli though in all our meals.
Havnt had pizza in about 3 weeks, thats a food acheivment... wow Im lame! Have been trying to eat something different each week but still seem to eat the same things! Whats everyone having for dinner? Inspire me! :)
Hope your all going well!
-
Hey all! Surely has been quiet!
I've been eating the same old... I've wanted to post here, but have done absolutely nothing of interest! Tempeh and roasted vegies last night, it was sooooooo good! Our vegie garden has been bestowing upon us a lot of cos lettuce, so I've been hoeing into that like a hungry bunny!
Dinner tonight is warm potato and cannellini bean salad, with grap tomatoes, roasted garlic and rosemary. I wanted to add pumpkin, but DH begged me not to  So I will roast up the pumpkin separately and maybe do a roast pumpkin, carrot and cous cous salad all for myself.
My birthday was pretty good, we went to The Forest in West End for dinner, we don't go often because DH doesn't love it, and always reckons I cook better food. We both had burgers, because their burgers are pretty good, and then we ordered cake to share (it's a birthday after all....) first we went for the passionfruit cheesecake, but after two bites I was so disgusted that I didn't want to eat any more, so DH went in and demanded a different cake! It was good, but still not blow-your-mind awesome. It's changed owners since last we were there and I am not a fan :(
-
Hi guys! Sorry I've been a bad vegie buddy!
Just thought I'd share...I had an amazing quiche tonight! Yeah, I don't usually eat eggs but since being pregnant I started having dairy and eggs again and haven't made the transition back yet!
Anyway, back to the quiche...it was a roast vegie one with zucchini, pumpkin and fetta. Just delicious!! Had a side of rocket salad. Yumm!
Thought I'd pop back in here as DS has started solids!!
I'll be trying to keep up with you all xox
-
:hello: my lovlies! I've been absent from this thread for a while too  My eating has not been very exciting at all!!!!! Been eating the same old stuff, So happy there is a change of season upon us because the summer eating is so much different and lighter so might start getting more creative. and Peach I will be able to start really using all those yummy leafy greans and exotic herbs I have in my salads  My vegan quest has come to a holt.... I cut out cheese for a fair while but have started eating it again! It is the only meat product that is left in our diet though and dh has been more than happy to lean toward the vegan way also but we ar both eating cheese! We did like the tofuti though and will continue to use it and when I find some other vegan cheeses to try I will get into them too :p
Holly we looooove Rocket! So excited that the wild rocket we are growing has totally taken off can't wait to eat it all up!
Peach we love chili, it will be hard thing for us to limit when we have bubs too, when we cook for guests who dont' eat much chili we tend to put the tiniest bit in the mean and than add cayene pepper to ours at the dinner table... That works well I think, so maybe you can cook your food with bubs and then add your chili after?
-
Greetings!
Snuggly- Thats no good about Forest. Ive only been there once about 3 years ago and wanst too impressed, especially after all the raves I had heard about it. Yum that potato salad sounds delish!
HollyM- What do you do for a quiche base? Ive never made a quiche in my life! Are you planning on raising your DS veg?
Cherished1- Thanks for the tip! Whats your hints with getting your rocket to grow? We planted some sprouts and they are dying already! :( If your back on the cheese wagon a great salad
Lots of rocket, grate 1 big fresh beetroot, add a handfull of walnuts, crumble small block of fetta, add a dash of balsamic, done!
So tasty and easy!
Lunch here, brown rice and vegies(eggplant sweet potato onion etc)
Hope everyone is having a good day :)
-
I'm back! I'm in Brisbane, and halfway thru unpacking my house. Loving my big kitchen, but still struggling to find a home for everything. Too many spices... and bowls. My mum's come down to help babysit while we unpack, and brought a whole pile of fresh greens from her garden. Spinach, rocket, kale, fennel tops and parsley. All went into a pie for dinner with a bit of fetta and roast vegies on the side. First home-cooked meal in over a week... we've been staying in a hotel and eating crap since last Friday! Can't wait to get cooking again. Must sleep now tho... so exhausted...
-
YAY NaNa that meal sound sooooo yummy! nothing like fresh herbs from the garden :D Enjoy your new house and the big kitchen, the kitchen in the house we built last year is one of our fav things about it! I have lived in units since moving out of home 14 years ago so having space is just wonderful!!
Peach I dont' think there's any secret, we planted them with potting mix into the ground and put a tiny sprinkle of fertiliser (nitrogen based I think) and it's going like crazy... Are you talking sprouts in the kitchen as in alphalfa sprouts dying or a couple of sprouts of rocket int he ground that are dying?
-
Yay, NaNa for your new place! Moving is so stressful, although there's nothing like an interstate move to make every other crisis look lame :) Hope you're settling well.
Got home late last night after a gig and DH decided to make chips  Peeled and chopped spuds, Cut into chip shapes, par-boiled for about 5 minutes, then drained thema nd shook them off really well. Salt and roast at high heat. I don't know if they tasted absolutely friggin awesome because they were awesome, or because we were tanked. Hard to say :D
-
Hello!
Snuggly- Haha nice! Good gig? I guess beer makes any gig good though...
Cherished- I mean sprouts in the ground... my rocket is almost dead and the coriander is getting there :( Im just laving it now, DP can hopefully bring them back to life, he has been getting all inspired by 'Costa's garden oddessy(sp)" on thursday nights :)
NaNa- Good to hear your move went ok! Welcome back to the sunny state :) How are you settling in?
I had my folks and one of my brothers visit last night and I made them dinner for the first time in over a year. They are complete carnivores, I wish I had put a bit more thought into the meal. I made chickpea and vegetable curry which was delicious, but they all struggled with the amount of vegetables... Might just stick with tvp taco's next time I think.
Which brings me to my question.... Would any of you cater for meat eaters at say xmas time? As in serve meat for them? I have a real issue with it but DP thinks I should be a bit more considerate as everyone we know makes veg food for us...
Hope your all having a good monday :)
-
Helloooo?
How is everyone?
I made the most amazing dinner the other night- stuffed eggplant yummo! Have never made it before and it turned out so good. Filled it with capsicum, mushrooms, eggplant, dash of lentils, herbs, tomato and tahini. Bit of cheese on top and in the oven for an hour, served with salad. Was so good!
We are off to Melbourne tmrw night for the weekend which means we get to eat at soul food and veg out, YAY!
Hope your all well :)
-
Ahhh, Peach I am off to Melbourne on Friday! Might bump into you at Vegie Bar or soul mama or somewhere! I'll be the one in the dress (for Frocktober) with the loud husband!
I made a soup the other night, pumpkin and parsnip and sweet potato and carrot. Cooked with onion and caraway seed and a stock that I made with some dill and other vegies. Topped it with a mix of onion, capsicum, vegie bacon and croutons, as well as tofutti with paprika sprinkled over it. Little bit eastern European, little bit of yum. Had leftovers for lunch today. MMM.
I love Vegetables!
-
Hello everyone! So sorry for my absence but we can blame Telstra for that! (major internet connection issues).
Peach - regarding your question about whether to prepare meat for non-vego guests....I have to say that I wouldn't do it. Since I am a vegan for ethical reasons,I would have a problem with buying and preparing meat in my home.It would be going against a deeply held belief. I don't think that meat eaters in general have an ethical issue with preparing vegetables (although they might have other issue with it) for vego guests. All our friends and family know we are vegan so they know what to expect at our place.
At my son's recent 3rd birthday, one of the dad's came up and said 'I have a problem with my cake,it doesn't have milk in it'. I managed a giggle at the time...
-
Hey Girls,
How is everyone going?
Aliash- Good to hear from you, and glad your telstra probs have been rectified :)
Snuggly- How was your Melbourne trip? Did you make it out to many good resturants?
Cherished- How are you going? Hows the herb jungle? Our plants have survived! The zombie rocket plant is back, Im stoked.
Things here have been good, Melbourne was awesome I ate SO much good food! Made it to veggie bar and even though it took over an hour and a half to get our food it was worth the wait. Had one of my besties engagement parties on, and they put on a huge veitnamese feast which was delish too. Argh, monster awake, gotta run! Hope your all well :)
-
Soooo.... pretty quiet in here still! Would love to say that I have something interesting to add, but there's nothing! A heightened love for tempeh, perhaps.
OOOhhh, no, wait! I had to buy some Cheezly from crueltyfreeshop a while ago, so to make postage worth it, I also bought some Vegan shrimp paste. Used it the other night, it stinks! In a good way, but man, it adds a depth of flavour to everything, what a good buy!
And I made vegan hedgehog and vegan Chuck Norris cookies (the amount of fat in them is equivalent to a swift roundhouse kick to the arteries) for a cake stall, and the hedgehog sold ot way before the other stuff, even though it had a big fat "VEGAN" label on it. Yaaaaaay!
-
SnugBug YAY for vegan goodies!
Peach honey I must have missed your post the other day :( so sorry! Glad your food was worth the wait because I would have been so mad after an hour and a half! I was just thinking today while watering the herbs how much they have grown!!!! They are awsome and I've loved adding them to my plain boring diet food to spice things up... I'm loving couscous with fresh Veitnamese hot mint, rocket, coriander, lemon grass and whatever else I pick out :p
Aliash my comment for the milkless cake is :wtf:  Everyone who comes over to our house knows not to expect any meat... We wouldn't even let them cook meat here even if we had a BBQ (which we don't), besides I think it woudl be rude for them to expect us to cook meat in our home and use our saucepans etc YUCK! People have bought meat into the home when they bought their own subway over for lunch but that is it... If they are eating our food it will be vegetarian... If guests are staying for a while and want meat we go out for dinner and they order what they want.
:hello: Hello HollyM, Krys, NaNaand anyone else I have forgotten
AFM I've not been posting anything because I have not been eating 'anything' exciting! no nice sauces, dressings, pastries, slices or cookies as I am loosing weight seriously over the last 6 weeks so everything I am eating is pretty plain and simple so I have a good idea of what I'm consuming... Boring I know!
-
I'm still around, but no time for much... internet has been dodgy lately, and DS has decided 4am is THE TIME to get up and go every morning for the last few weeks now, and I'm just a bit wiped out!
Have been slowly getting settled here in Brissie, and had a bit of fun shopping at some of the old wholesale suppliers I used to go to, picking up whatever middle eastern goodies I could find (not much), and bulk bags of beans and lentils at the Indian place in the Gabba. And pickles and chutneys! mmmm... spicy eggplant kasaundi! Found a brand new French bakery, which is fortunately on the other side of the city to me, so I wont put on a thousand pounds by the end of the month! I am having serious Melbourne food withdrawals tho... That sounds sad, doesn't it?! I just don't have the time to be very creative at the moment, and I haven't got access to a good fruit and veg supplier here. Other than the bits and pieces my mum brings me from her garden when she visits! So it's been lots of couscous and tagines, harira soup, warm salads and the occasional packet mix rendang curry! The Asian Home Gourmet brand is vegetarian, but darn it's hot! I did manage to make some vegan muffins (pear, almond, ginger and dark choc) and a nice warm salad the other night with grilled zucchini slices, blanched asparagus, cherry tomatoes, canellini beans, spring onions, a lemon-cumin-paprika vinaigrette and loads of dill and mint. But it was after 9.30 by the time I got to eat it, and I was interrupted twice to resettle DS... Anyway, he's starting childcare next week so hopefully I can get back in the kitchen a bit more and get my groove back maybe!
Hope you're all happy and healthy! Must sleep now...
snuggly - where is this tempeh you speak of?? I have a need for tempeh pecel, and it's getting desperate!!
-
NaNa I get tempeh from Coles at Gabba Central. Go after 6pm and it's often cheep cheap. While you're in the Gabba, also check out Pennisi deli on Balaclava St, I love it in there! Especially after having lived in South America and Eastern Europe - there's an aisle there that makes me feel like I'm in either of those areas!
-
That's where I went! I've been going there for years. The new bakery next door is lovely too, and I'm not just saying that because the owner gave me free bread! It's delish, and very authentic French. No square bread here, thank you! Also, Samios is good for the same kind of stuff as Pennisi, but on Annerley Rd. I wont be going to the Gabba again any time soon tho, not even after 6pm, since I'm on the north side, I don't have a car and I don't reckon I could get DS to agree to a bus ride with me when it's his dinner time! Will have to have a look out for tempeh at my local places. I don't think I've given it to DS yet, so that will be another new food for him to try! He's eating more food than me at the moment, which is a bit scary. Growth spurt maybe. I've never seen a kid eat so much hommus and rye bread, it's astonishing!
I have just received a very special delivery of 1 litre each of my friend's famous jalapeno jelly and chipotle jam. Almost worth coming back to Qld just for that! I have missed it so much...
-
I do tend to find Coles much better for tofu and tempeh and things. Gabba Central particularly good - maybe it's the massive local student population? They've also started to stock tofutti, which is great, so now the only thing I go to Woolies for is Home Brand tortillas, and we're even starting to go off them. Woolies have stopped stocking DH's beloved strawberry so good, so he doesn't want to shop there any more! lol.
-
SnugBug and NaNa I highly recomnend a road trip to the Forest Glen health food store on the sunshine coast... Has soooo much great stuff!
-
But we're both car-less! Might need to be creative with that one :)
Has anyone seen my pumpkin thread? Can I eat my butternut pumpkin? It looks a little dodgy. I'm off to consult Stephanie Alexander....
-
OK I know I haven't been here lately but we had the nicest dinner tonight. Was so awesome I had to share: Rice paper wrappers filled with chopped Frys vege nuggets, toasted cashews, sliced mango, hoisin sauce, coriander, cucumber, carrot, lettuce and tomato.
To die for! I ate about 8 I think.
-
hmph! keep losing internet... this is a re-post of what I tried to say half an hour ago:
A good friend of mine, who is also a vego chef and mama, her husband is a buyer for the organic place in Forest Glen. It's awesome, and my family has shopped there since I was a kid. But yeah, being without a car makes that trip a little challenging on a regular basis. But I will be heading up to stay at my friend's place and visit my mum soon, so maybe a co-op is in order?!
Krysalyss - can I come round for leftovers?? Sounds yummy! I don't know about dying for it, but I'd get the train to Rocky if someone was going to make me home-meade rice paper rolls! I'm so hungry, DS ate most of my dinner (and lunch!) so I've had toast... :( The kid is eating me out of house and home.
Pumpkin thread?? I'm intrigued...
-
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick one, its impossible to do anything at the moment but DD is smooshing broccoli into her mouth(and the carpet) so I have a couple of mins :)
Rice paper rolls- my new favourite meal! So random I was actually coming on to say how Ive just fallen in love with them. Made them twice this week already, sooooo yummy Krysalyss yours sound divine! I tried mine with kecap manis the other night as we usually have plain soy... what other sauces can you have with them? ****ake mushrooms are my new love too, soooo good.
NaNa- Are you still doing your elimination diet?
Cherished- No problems, I miss posts all the time. How are you going?
Snuggly- I havnt seen your pumpkin thread, did you grow one?
Aliash- How are you going?
Yesterday I was taken out to lunch in paddington by my best friend which was nice, ordered 5 dishes between the two of us and left soooo full! Had risotto balls, rocket salad with caramelised walnuts, whats that fried cheese? Ah yep, haloumi which I dont really dig that much and potato jacks(so tasty!) and friend had crocodile :o Was nice to go out though, especially as there is nowhere down here to eat out at....
Things have been good here, DD is turning into the little vegie connosiour(sp) now happily munching on sticks of tofu. My Dad came over on sat "Are you raising her veg?" Me "Yup" "Oh no, why deprive the poor child?" Me :shakehead: Gotta love the relos :)
Hope everyone has a good day :) So hot here!
-
Ahhhh, rellos. What can you do...
My pumpkin thread was about a butternut I bought that had turned a bit bad. Wasn't sure if I could still eat it. I compromised and ate the top half :)
Went to alibi room on Saturday night, got the vegan pizza and one of their half-kilo bowls of chips to share with DH. It was soooo good.
Also found out that my musical idol is vego on the weekend. New project is to convert him. (the best part? I think he thinks I'm cool.)
-
Hi girls :hello:
Peaches I"m great hon, ok rephrase that, I'm a bit insane ttc!!! but great loosing weight, still eating plain foods, nothing exciting!
SnugBug who's your music idol?
