I'm a relative newby when it comes to gardening....but I'd like to keep things as chemical free as possible.

Anyone know how to get rid of black spot on a rose? I keep pulling the bits off and throwing garlic water on it, but it keeps coming back. It's a potted rose and very pretty when it flowers. I'm worried that by removing the black spot bits i'll stop it blooming.
